Alexander Goth is joining Academie Le Tour in Pleasantview and he's bringing two teenagers into college with him, it's Pong and Joe Grundstrom, both Vacationers that share the same name.
The three young men have joined the Boggs Hall Dorm, a 12 bedroomed Dorm that I have never played before.
Here are Pong and Joe in their YA forms.
The Beauty of a big dorm is that there is a high chance of having some SS members in it, and Alexander is lucky enough to be having breakfast that morning with 3 of them!
He has an urge to get fit and so does some working out.
He is undecided on a Major and for now will stay in Psychology as it gives him lots of options for careers in the future, several of which may suit his 'Family' persona.
Having the urge to buy new clothes (thank goodness) he visits the Campus Boutiques the next day.
After much 'scoping' Alex is very drawn to the redheaded Chris Cwik.
He joins Pong and Joe for breakfast along with the Cow Mascot who turns out to be a boy- they are often female in my game.
Once home he invited his Stepmother Celeste over, it's nice to have someone to chat to during the late nights and Alex really wants to be best friends with Celeste, having known her since his childhood.
There is still time for some silly though and he enjoys tormenting the fish in the tank.
It's no wonder the fish never live long!
Summary.
Alex and Chris are a nice couple of Family Sims... and with Alex's LTW to see 3 kids graduate college it's nice he found Chris so soon.
There's a lot of rounds to go before we're back here though, so time will tell if it's meant to last!
Alex had a great first year - lots of new friends, a future wife, good grades and SS membership; what more could he wish for! I wonder whether Mortimer will be around long enough to attend his son‘s graduation party, and whether Alex and Chris will move to a private home now that they are engaged.
ReplyDeleteI will see what Alex's wishes are next round but that is a good idea to move him into a home with Chris for the rest of their college years, :)
DeleteThat was a fun semester! I remember being quite fond of Alexander, when I played him back in pre-Richmond Pleasantview. A lot of my TS2 sims met their partners at university, and its fun spotting the familiar NPCs in the university updates (IIRC the NPC's appearances are the same across playthroughs, but they have different names in different games). I'm fairly sure the glowy lady with the pigtails in the campus shop was the infamous April Hutchins in my game - Alexander was wise not to follow a relationship with her!
ReplyDeleteYes I do like that often our Sims choose their own partners and Alexander certainly did with Chris.
DeleteYes I get why the developers did that with the NPC's but it can be confusing!
