Indie- Mitch- Sophomore Year

 

We're back at Académie Le Tour in Pleasantview and have already been to this lot once this round, for Max Flexor. This time we are here for his room mate Mitch Indie.

Mitch is a Family Sim who wishes to become Mayor of Pleasantview, he is a Drama Major and I won't change that as it will give him a boost when he finds the Political career- well even Politics is all Drama isn't it? 

As is usual when they have free time Mitch is painting and following his Arts & Crafts hobby while Max is continuing to work towards his '20 Best Friends' lifetime wish.

The YA's are good friends and have much in common, including the fact that they are total slobs. I had them hire a Maid as they never lift a finger to clean anything save an occasional bowl or plate.

I also moderated their house/s a little as I couldn't stand the constant switching from one side to another- I took away the front and one set of rear steps and joined the houses together through the middle.

The layout is much the same as it was for now and we'll see how it works as I removed the doubled up kitchen last time.

The boys eat lots of cereal. :D

Mitch is trying to befriend the 'masked' sims as he wants to get rid of the creepy masks somehow and while Max is an SS member it's not his 'turn'.

Helpfully though Max can invite his fellow SS members over. 

Mitch gets to know two of them and as he is friends with Max already that's all he needs for membership.

Mitch attracted the attention of Professor Daisy McCarthy last time and they have 2 bolts, she turns up of her own accord all the time and constantly showers Mitch with attention.

Professor La Shawn Gothier though is Mitch's actual tutor! He invited her over to help him with his assignment and she launched herself at him for a make out kiss, which he rejected.

He'd much rather keep their relationship on a strictly professional level. 

He really wants to fall in love but so far isn't massively attracted to anyone.

Maybe he'll get his chance now as Demi Love (the 'younger' version) comes to pick him up.

Normally once my Sims arrive I have them befriend everyone but Mitch is too busy making them all over this time.

He's gone for Custom hair and funky eyeliner! A definite improvement I think although choice is limited for custom hair within the game.

He got home just in time for he and Max to attend their first final exam which they passed with flying colours.

The next day, sick of eating cereal and hopeless at cooking Pizza was ordered! 

Max made another best friend,

and later got his 10th.

He and Mitch like to talk about their respective hobbies, funnily enough Max's is cooking although he's never in the kitchen. :D

Winter arrived and the guys ran out to have a snowball fight!

I think Mitch was being a bit too brave just prancing around in his pj's and I had to have him come in before he froze.

He visited the SS lot again that night and Tish Chung planted a kiss on him, another 2 bolter but not enough to really pique Mitch's interest.

Mitch got his SS eyeliner, he hates it but at least unlike a real tattoo it will wash off if he wants it to! :D

He had time for a quick creativity skill or two before going home.

Max, who had been chatting to pizza girl Lauren Reeves on the phone finally made her a friend.

He threw red hearts for her and I thought he may have found a mate for life but it's only 1 bolt.

She enjoyed getting to know Mitch too,

and they have more chemistry!

The next day Max threw a party and invited all his 'still masked' SS friends to meet Mitch.

They got makeovers and Mitch got to know more of them.

The house wasn't great for the party, lots of routing issues and blocking of doorways owing as well to some of the YA's wanting to do assignments... I mean who does that at a party?!

Wow Max your party and what are you doing? Reading the paper? You kids really know how to go crazy. :D

Finally he caught up with his guests and enjoyed a dance or two.

He did at least have a rockin' party, thanks mainly to Mitch I think. :D

Here they are finishing their Sophomore Year! Some more nice funds into the pot as well.

 Max then invited another friend over who became his 20th best friend! He was too close to it to not get it done this round and I didn't want it done during someone else's round.

With some more funds in the pot I extended the house out on one side by a square or two and put the bedrooms in one end of the house, hopefully that should ease the routing issues next time. I also extended the porch end to end. 

I enjoyed playing these two and it was a good Sophomore Year for the boys with lots of friends and girls even if they each haven't found 'the one' yet. Maybe next year?!
