Here we are in Belladonna Cove visiting the Cho family. I think I may have first looked over this place when I first got AL but never actually played the family.
It's a nice ground floor apartment with plenty of room for Vivian and her daughter Etsu.
The first thing Vivian does is call in sick....

Vivian then left her job and found another.
She also called a Nanny to cover her new working pattern.
She taught her toddler daughter all the necessary skills.
She even had time to meet and greet a neighbour.
A little later she called the nanny after being invited on an outing... hmm, is it worrying that two show up?
She was invited out by Carlos Contender, who walked straight off the lot, but his niece and family, The Baldwins' came along with Jessica Peterson to The Hub.
They had a boogie after their sit down meal,
and Vivian met the local Vampire, Count Shea Shankel. It was an interesting evening.
The next morning Vivian had a wish to knock on her neighbour Timothy Riley's door... she went inside but everything was dark, so she came out again as she couldn't see anything.
She caught up with townie Gretchen Chin for a chatter.
Vivian had found a job in Law Enforcement which ties in nicely with her desire to become Captain Hero.
She set off for her shift.
Little Etsu grew up,
and after a quick makeover...
She is outside panicking when the Fire Department turn up..
Ah, the nanny has burnt dinner but seems quite oblivious to it doesn't she?
Thankfully the fire was put out quickly by the professionals.
On Wednesday Vivian goes to work while Etsu goes to 'big school'.
The day passed fairly uneventfully and Vivian brought home Jason Cleveland, a fellow Belladonna Cove resident and colleague. Vivian did get promoted to Patrol Officer though!
Etsu too brought home a friend, Kennedy Gaither.
After dinner Vivian taught Etsu how to do her homework properly.
Vivian called her friends Carlos and Nathan over to watch the game,
But it's soon time for her to head out for the night shift.
Etsu got her first A+
Her and Kennedy have some fun in the playground next to the apartment with the Nanny watching on.

On Thursday (early hours) Vivian arrived home with a promotion to Desk Sergeant.
She set straight to the gym to gain a body skill.
On Friday, another promotion for Vivian (to Vice Squad) and a day of school/study for Vivian. The Nanny watched some TV with her...
whilst Vivian has a date with Timothy... quite dull to be honest, neither show any inclination toward the other.
On Saturday whilst her Mother worked Etsu found some fun in blowing bubbles.
She called her friend Kennedy over and as she greeted him Ramir Patel walked by and so she greeted 'everyone'.
Ramir was great fun in helping the kids spin faster and faster.
He was better fun than the Nanny who spends her time either in the bathroom or on the computer.
Vivian was most grateful for his presence while she was at work, and though she considered flirting with him he told her how happily married he was and she decided against it.
She found little Etsu asleep on the sofa.
But woke her up to share some interests.
She told Etsu that if she wanted to broaden her interests she should visit some different areas of the town,
So they went to Belladonna Cove Groceries where not only did Vivian buy groceries, they each met and shared interests with some new neighbours.
Vivian couldn't wait to make Crepes,
But set herself on fire...
Thankfully the fire alarm alerted the Fire Department and a hero in uniform saved the day.
On Sunday Detective Vivian promised Etsu a treat after she finished her shift.
Etsu had a nice non-burnt breakfast for a change,
then popped upstairs to meet a neighbour, Sally Riley.
Vivian was faced with a slight dilemma but chose correctly to gain a couple of skill points, and a promotion to Lieutenant after work.
She took Etsu to Central Park West where they played games and ate junk food.
Etsu loved the atmosphere in the park, especially when a Good Witch cast a happy spell upon the grounds.
They went straight from the park to Desprit Deals Clothing Store where Etsu enjoyed watching a break dancer...
and her Mum bought her a brand new coat.
Vivian spent the evening relaxing in the tub,
and calling her friends, new and old for catch up's to round off the week.
Summary:-
I really enjoyed playing Vivian and Etsu, although visiting apartments neighbours' has me a bit stumped as to why the apartment was in darkness, it happened several times so I've no idea about that.
Vivian, although a Family Sim has no real desire to find love even during the date so I thought I'd let her meet lots of different people and see what happens during the course of the round before we meet her again and who knows what may happen?
