Daniel Bell is here at Desiderata's Académie Le Tour University at my newest dorm simply called The Student Dorm.
He got quite a shock when he entered the boy's restroom to find a naked lady in there and while he did have a conversation with her (focusing very much on her eyes) much later I had to use move_objects to remove her from the bathroom as she wouldn't come out due to it being 'locked' to her. Weird that she got in there then eh?
Popularity Sim Daniel wishes to be a Prestidigitator like his Aunt Sharon one day, but for now he enjoyed dinner with some of his fellow dormies and then let loose on his dancing skill.
The dorm kitchen is set at the back of the lot with lovely views to, um nothing yet... green fields... lovely views of green fields. ;)
His fellow students came and joined in with dancing and chatter after they finished their meals.
While two of the girls played chess behind the little den area Daniel shared some gossip with one of the lads.
Daniel thought it wise the next morning to make friends with the dorm cook but she wasn't too impressed with his asking for something new from the menu. "Pancakes or Omelettes is all we have the budget for young man!" she exclaimed. "Geez I just wanted some Cheerios," muttered Daniel.
Breakfast drama over and later Daniel actually got Tara (dorm cook) enthralled in a conversation about politics.
He'd made friends already with almost all his dormies and before the second day ended he became the Big Man on Campus.
Of course he had to study hard too and the den area was great for that.
He met Lisa Okuma when she strolled past. Daniel had 'scoped the room' a few times but as yet no one had met his expectations. He still hasn't found a 3 bolt attraction.
A typical cow mascot expression of 'wasn't me!'... but the sprinkler going off was a bit of a giveaway. :D
Autumn is upon the dorm and so is the rain. :)
Here's the layout- 4 bedrooms each side, separate boys/girls bathrooms and one big central area split up by the den in the middle leading into the dining/kitchen area. There are desks in each corner right at the front of the dorm even though each bedroom has a desk- you never know when you may need to influence someone to write your term paper!
With it being Autumn each day except the first Daniel hadn't needed to write a term paper. An assignment, classes and talking with his two Professors were enough to fill his college bar as he raced off to his first final exam.
Daniel made the Dean's list and got a top grade in his Literature class.
He started working on a creativity skill the next day- and quite possibly a cleaning skill after that once the cow mascot arrived!
Daniel went down to the campus coffee shop and found lots of suited students- just one of which is in his dorm.
He got a big boost of aspiration when he made his 10th best friend.
He just stopped this student from stealing his gnome by distracting her, although she came back later and took it. Daniel snuck off the lot to steal it back later though!
Afterwards he enjoyed a nice bowl of mac n cheese. He learnt that if he wants anything 'new' to eat he has to cook it himself and so started studying cooking when he had time in the hope he can soon cook something different to eat.
Later he went out to rake the leaves that had been falling.
He suddenly froze but was soon greeted by a Secret Society member who whisked him off in a limo.
He spent a pleasant evening working on a few new friendships and skills.
He just had time for some early morning yoga before his final exam.
Daniel has finished his Freshman year with a top grade and a spot on the Dean's list.
Summary- this year flew by, while Daniel did speak to his parents and brother they never got around to visiting- maybe next time!
