D. J Verse- Senior year

 

We've moved from Strangetown's college S.S.U to Veronaville's college, La Fiesta Tech where DJ has just completed her Junior Year.

You may remember last time that I changed DJ's aspiration to Family as she kept rolling Family wishes. She wishes to be a Celebrity Chef one day.

Joining the girls in the Greek house this round are Zoe Zimmerman and Jasmine Rai. Already living here along with D.J are Sarah Love and Jessie Pilferson...

along with the newly graduated Monica Bratford. All 4 original girls are in their final year. Monica had the urge for pizza straight after her final, final exam hence the boost of aspiration upon her return, that was for graduating, and not for getting pizza. :D

This time around I've decided that each college student will learn at least one skill from the bookcase during college, more if they wish for it. Monica just learned Physiology which should help keep her in shape after eating all that pizza.

Family sim Sarah Love learnt parenting, that will come in handy when she has the family she longs for after college.

The girls take a break to enjoy some relaxation and chatter in the hot tub.

DJ not only enjoys the Garden but loves making pottery and is pleased upon receiving a Bronze badge that she can now make tea sets.

Later Monica utilises her newfound Physiology knowledge to max her body skills while the other girls get their assignments done.

Monica also added 'Parenting' to her list of skills... who knows what the future may hold?

A potential love match for Monica is the Bartender Stephan who she is quite taken with.

Sarah asked a new friend to pledge.

It's time for Monica's graduation party!

Monica had the best party, campus police stayed well away and she had her final picture with bestie Jessie.

Not sure what is going on in the background! :D

Early the next day DJ got her Bronze garden badge, she can finally plant something other than tomatoes!

Romance loving Jessie invited her 3 bolt friend Mickey Dosser over.

DJ had Allyn McCarthy move in after her pledge period ended.

Another Family sim, Allyn wishes to reach her Golden Anniversary one day, and she loves Nature.

DJ was the last of the remaining three originals to finish the semester. One left until college is all done for them!

She invited her boyfriend Guy Wrightly over to celebrate!

Jasmine got off to a great start by completing her Life time wish to have 20 best friends! It's a shame she doesn't have a physical memory stamp but I'm sure she will never forget. Her new LTW is to become Captain Hero one day.

Allyn is very taken with Shaun Lawson. They have 2 bolts.

After confiding to Jessie that she secretly likes boys with blond hair Jessie offered him a makeover and the rest, as they say, is history. Another 3 bolt couple.

The girls went downtown to get Allyn a phone and had a fun night chatting -more amongst themselves to be honest. DJ did meet the local Vampiress.

Allyn learned Parenting like all good family sims do. :)

The girls spent an evening all studying for something, Zoe just learned Fire Safety which should help her keep her cool if fire ever occurs.

Allyn was whisked off to the Secret Society lot, she was pleased that she would see Shaun again though.. 

but when she got there some red-headed tramp was chatting him up!

oh dear, there was much slapping and shoving and now they can't stand each other, made worse by the fact Allyn was wearing smart glasses at the time.

Once back home she told the girls all about her evening and how her whole future may not be quite as planned out as she thought!

Talking of plans, while it seems the 'game' has destined Sarah to be with Matthew Hart (they have zero bolts) she actually has 3 with the Llama mascot Jerry Ternynck and now they are best friends.

Later that night DJ is the last of the originals to Graduate! Yay.

Sarah Love was first, she graduated with a 4.0 in Biology and may I say grew up into the most hideous combination outfit I've ever seen. :D

In keeping with her original blue shade of clothing I changed her into this once she'd moved back to Veronaville.

Jessie spun into this dress, and while not matching her original colours I didn't find it offensive enough to worry about for this round, so off she went. Incidentally considering Jessie barely went to class or did any actual work she scraped by with a 3.7 in Psychology.

But of course this story is about DJ and so she got her well deserved (4.0 in Literature) Graduation party.

It was a full house with the Greek house guys coming along as well as the other student house with the Davis brothers, Klara Vonderstein et al but it was her good friend Monica who had come (along with Sarah and Jessie) back just for the party and for DJ's final college picture.

So DJ said goodbye to the Tri Fruhm Sorority but we won't be, as we'll be back later this round for Zoe Zimmerman's turn!

Keeping her 'green' theme going DJ sits and contemplates marriage.. but to who? Guy? We'll find out next time! 

Summary- Always a fun round in college but this time quite a study heavy year- I realised I'd been quite lax with the girls' actual skills so got them all working hard as well as the 'extra' skills.

Extra skills they learnt-

DJ- Parenting, Silver badge in Pottery, Bronze in Gardening.

Sarah- Parenting & Fire Safety.

Monica- Parenting & Physiology.

Jessie- Physiology.

Zoe- Couples Counselling & Fire Safety

Jasmine- Fire Safety.

Allyn- Parenting & Bronze Garden badge.

Next it's off to Riverblossom Hills to visit the Viejo family.

Upsnott- Senior Year.

 Due to crash on my laptop and a failed hard drive I've had to step back to round 1, but I had saved at least up to Natasha Una, so I'm continuing the alphabet at 'U' and here we go beginning with Brittany Upsnott...

This is the Tri Var Sorority Greek house at Sim State University. Here in my game it's attached to Strangetown.

Brittany isn't the happiest of Sims, even when she's smustling with Heather Huffington, one of her housemates.

She got a good mood boost and possibly a smile when she'd made her 10th best friend. Joining the dance is the last original house member Tiffany Sampson.

The pink haired student is the newest resident, she is Katy Hunicke, she loves to skill and is in love with the newly graduated Erik Swain and is busy here talking to a possible pledge.

The next morning and first day of Spring, while nature lovers Heather and Tiffany tend to the vegetable garden, Brittany decided to call the matchmaker!

She got Bruce Rauscher. Not overly impressed there was little spark and poor conversation and once Brittany got the date to 'good' she ended it!

After that she quite liked the look of the new mail carrier Shane Brown, they have two bolts and had a nice conversation before he left to deliver the rest of the day's mail around campus.

Brittany found a new pledge in her friend Nicole Traver.

Nicole had brought a friend with her, Kelly Traver. Perhaps more distant cousin than friend given their shared surname and Brittany soon asked Kelly to pledge too.

With a third pledge- Sierra Dallas- doing her assignment, Kelly off to repair something and Nicole cleaning- Brittany could get some good time at the logic table.

The first semester flew by with all the pledges taking on the work which left the housemates free to pursue skills and friendships.

Nicole was the first of the 3 pledges to move in. She is a Romance sim who wishes to be a Celebrity Chef one day.

She moved in just as the rival mascots were having a fight!

The Cow mascot won! Still ran off the lot after though. ;)

Kelly almost had a heart attack whilst repairing one of the computers.

It was quite the shock but she was fine after one of the housemates influenced her to take a shower.

Speaking of shocks what is this face for Brittany?

well Lordy imagine waking up to that, I'm sure we'd all react like Brittany!

Later that day Brittany threw a toga party and invited the Greek house boys and lots of friends.

It was quite the big gathering, luckily someone is always going off to 'steal' an extra sofa or chair.

Shane was invited and he and Brittany managed a dance or two before the party ended.

Brittany has Graduated! She invited Kelly Traver to join the house before she leaves it.

Kelly agreed and is a Fortune Sim who wishes to one day be a City Planner.

Brittany's Graduation party was anything but dull. Tiffany had decided to make cake, but also decided to disappear off lot (no doubt for another sofa) which meant the cake was still in the oven and set on fire.

Everyone panicked, except Brittany who just stood and stared.

Thankfully the fire alarm triggered the Fire Department and the fire was soon extinguished. 

Just in time too as the Secret Society Limousine just pulled up!

Then, at the same time that Nicole was being driven off the home lot, Brittany decided to 'visit Campus'... and as the limo left (and me along with it) with the party still going on I wondered if I would ever see Brittany again.

After the initiation ceremony Nicole phoned for the limo and headed straight back home...

As the Limo dropped her off you can see Brittany coming back, with pizza.

The party is still going.... ;D

What's that smell Brittany?

Well honestly it's everyone! From the fire. :D

So Brittany had her photo as normal and grew up at the kerbside, but the taxi did not come. Oh no, I thought... but all Brittany had to do was call on the telephone to move back to Strangetown and along came the taxi for her. (It asked her if she wanted a party- I said no, one was enough though she'd already got her great party memory)

Here's Brittany's new home back in the main 'hood. It'll be a while until we see her again though!

Of course this round was all about Brittany but there were other things going on too...

Heather and her fiancé Martin Ruben had a lovely date, well they did Woohoo in the photo booth in front of Mrs Crumplebottom which got Heather a big handbag bashing.

Tiffany brought home yet another sofa.

and Nicole went off to buy a phone and found herself highly attracted to bartender Sean Collin.

Summary-

We'll be back to see what Katy and Kelly got up to and catch up with the other girls too next time we're here, probably for Heather's turn. :)
