Pascal Curious

 

Pascal Curious is in love with Bella Goth.

So much so he left his family home with his daughter Luna and moved here to number 1 Cover up road, which is just across the road from his brothers' house. 

(In order for Pascal to afford this home I emptied it of furnishings before he moved in- he had a whole backpack full of goodies to bring anyway).

While Luna went to school Pascal called and invited Bella over, and to move in. She agreed!

Bella is a Romance Sim with a lifetime wish to be a Professional Party guest, she's already in the career as a Freelance Photographer- she added 10K to the family funds and their combined friend count is 22.

Here's the loft- a 2 bedroomed home with 1 bathroom and an open plan kitchen/living area.

The welcome wagon brought Jane & Grant (clothed) Stacks (he is a former Streaker after all) and Sanjay Ramaswami.

Luna brought Rosemarie Jitmakusol home from school.

But Luna still found time to catch up with and make a new best friend over the phone.

The evening saw the family invited downtown with most members of the Smith family and General Buzz Grunt.

It's nice for Luna to get to know her cousin Jill Smith.

During the serving Pascal ended up with his dinner in his lap which seemed to amuse Ashley Pitts (in the background).

Half the party ate outdoors as there wasn't enough seating inside.

Everyone agreed it was a great night as they went their separate ways.

Once home and showered Pascal & Bella immediately tried for a baby.

After school on Tuesday Luna took herself downtown where she scoped the room to find she had 3 bolts with Edward Fuchs (in red). 

She went home and did a little yoga,

Then asked Edward on a date.

They had a dream date here at the Strangetown Diner. New best friends Polly Tech and his daughter-in-law Ophelia later joined them in a Smustle dance.

Edward had just dropped a date bouquet off for Luna when Bella got a surprise of her own.

On Wednesday Luna met River Smith, a distant relative of her Aunt Jenny.

Pregnant Bella chose to forgo her maternity leave and go to work,

She rather wished she hadn't as she ended up losing a lot of money.

Luna and Bella are best friends now- Luna is glad to see her Dad happy and is looking forward to getting to know her half-sibling.

Another wish of Pascal's (the baby was his big wish) was for a robot bench. 

He made a few toy robots then left for his job as a Mad Scientist. Good job someone is earning the big bucks.

On Friday morning he greeted Bella and talked to the baby bump.

Luna is an overachiever- top of a teen career and an A+ student.

She'd got home from work just in time to see Bella go into labour.

A baby boy. Pascal insisted on naming him after his old dad Glam. But he has Bella's surname- so he's Glam Goth. ;)

Luna decided it was the perfect time to fly the nest!

But she didn't go far, just to college and here she is joined by fellow former teens Edward Fuchs (her 3 bolter) and River Smith. We'll be seeing how they get on next.

Summary- 

Well this was fun and I didn't just play for a couple of days in the end- two days short maybe. :D

Pascal had kept wanting a baby for ages, probably spurred on by his brothers' when they had their alien kids and I think it's nice for Bella to have a Goth representative in the 'hood!

Next I'll be playing Luna through Freshman Year.

The Curious Family- Round 2

 

Here we are back in Strangetown to visit the Curious Brothers.

Pascal is the eldest brother and still wishes to stargaze on a regular basis. This house is 8 strong so no chance of another abduction.

Pascal's siblings are Vidcund and Lazlo, they are teaching the toddlers some skills- looks like Vidcund is teaching his son Orion to potty while Lazlo is teaching one of his twins, Astra or Pandora. :)

The eldest alien child is Luna, the daughter of Pascal.

The other member of the family is Crystal, she is married to Lazlo and their relationship is kind of strange, on/off, they like/dislike each other but despite that Crystal still wants a baby. She finally found her true calling career in Athletics and starts later as a Starter.

Pascal asked Bella on a date and they went to the Crypt o' nightclub where they snuggled after a nice dinner.

You may remember they threw hearts for each other and developed a crush during Johnny Smith's wedding to Ophelia Nigmos.

They became the best of friends before their date ended.

Pascal arrived home just in time to see his nephew and Vidcund's son Orion celebrate becoming a child.

During the night Bella snuck onto the lot and left not only a bouquet of Roses for Pascal but this expensive Bust decoration too.

Early Sunday morning Vidcund helped Orion with his homework. (actually it was Luna's but she's not complaining). Orion's personality is 10 outgoing, 10 playful and 10 nice!

Orion loves Nature like his Uncle Lazlo but whilst looking for bugs he disturbed a whole nest of bees and had to try and outrun them for a while.

Crystal's first day of work brought her a chance card.... she decided to take the deal,

That paid off nicely! Well done Crystal. Not only the bonus but a promotion to All Star.

Her rather smelly husband came home as a Platform Jumper...and then jumped into the shower.

Pascal went on a second date with Bella that night.

It's love. :)

On Monday Top Secret Researcher Pascal and Elementary School Teacher Vidcund are on hand to celebrate Luna's first A+. Incidentally Luna is 10 Nice and 10 Neat.

Crystal put her new career reward to good use and maxed her body skill.

Vidcund maxed his Creativity skill at the mysterious hydroponic career reward. (Only mysterious in that no one was in that career although Slacker would suit lazy and slobby Lazlo). :D

As if the day wasn't busy enough Monday ended with Lazlo's twin daughter's birthdays. Yay no more nappies/no sleep.

I didn't write down the numeric but Astra is highly outgoing, playful and active whilst her sister Pandora is highly outgoing and nice.

The family celebrate with pizza.

On Tuesday Lazlo earned his Silver Garden badge.

Vidcund became a High School Teacher and now everyone can benefit from his career reward bookcase.

Later that night Pascal's wish of seeing Luna get into private school was granted. Of course Orion, Pandora and Astra were accepted too.

Lazlo and Crystal have been building bridges between them, Crystal admitted the stress of not finding her career was getting to her.

Wednesday saw 2 of the kids' bringing school friends home for a play date. Later Pascal would be promoted to Theorist whilst Vidcund got the role of University Guest Lecturer and later still Lazlo is a Power Leveller.

 Luna turned teenager! She rolled family and wishes to reach her Golden Anniversary. She also wishes for college.

Even later still....Lazlo worked on his Logic skill.

and Pascal maxed cleaning. It seemed a long day. ;D

Thursday morning saw a busy family breakfast.

Then Pascal reached the top of the Science career and achieved his lifetime wish.

He grabbed Luna and they left for a new lot. We'll catch up with them next for a day or two. ;)

The rest of the smartly dressed children went off to school on Friday.

Vidcund got a chance card which gave him a promotion, he worked a double shift which resulted in a promotion to College Senior Professor.

Lazlo is a Real Time Strategizer. (Level 8)

The children work diligently on their homework.

Crystal hasn't had many more promotions (currently an MVP)  but this was an amazing chance card result!

Lazlo made Guild Leader, level 9 and Vidcund is a College Dean of Students. (level 9).

Vidcund played red hands with Orion.

Whilst Pandora is hustling her Dad Lazlo at the chess table!

The very early hours of Saturday is where we leave the week, with Lazlo and Crystal trying for a baby... I swear I heard bells. ;D

Summary- 

A full on and fun week at the Curious household. I needed Pascal to move out so he can hopefully get with Bella and of course Luna went with her dad although I'm sure college isn't far off for her.

This house is a little buggy- one of the twins was getting stuck all the time going to the school bus but I worked around it with move_objects. I often wonder with renovating an original house if it causes problems like this?
