Goth Family

Here we are in Pleasantview at Goth Manor, home of Mortimer, Cassandra and Alexander.

Cassandra of course no longer resides here as she lives with Darren Dreamer, so Mortimer and Alexander have the place to themselves once Mortimer bid farewell to a loitering Don Lothario who was here to marry Cassandra but we all know how that turned out. :)

Mortimer took Alexander Downtown to the Maple Springs and Spa where they met a spooky local vampire and a townie.

They spent some quality father-son time.

Back at home and Dina rang Mortimer to keep him updated on his baby daughter's progress.

He then ordered pizza for dinner.

Thankfully he wasn't scared by his ghostly relatives, Cornelia- his Mother or Simon Crumplebottom, his Maternal Grandfather.

The next day he helped Alexander with his homework being the good Knowledge sim he is. 

Then treated Alexander to a new skilling/fun table for getting his first A+.

The Contessa Celeste Welsh came over for a visit.

She made fast friends with Alexander.

Then joined in leftover omelettes that Mortimer had saved from breakfast.

Pink hearts for the Contessa and Mortimer.

Later still it was Alex's turn to become a teenager...

A party was thrown of course to celebrate.

Alex rolled to become a Family Sim with a lifetime wish to graduate 3 children from college. 

He made best friends with the Countess.

whilst Mortimer made best friends with his Daughter Cassandra.

The next day Alex met the paper girl Amy Jones.

He learnt how to make special comforting soup, he is determined to go to college and as soon as possible.

He and Mortimer made best friends on Thursday.

Later that day Mortimer and Celeste were engaged.

Taking immediate advantage of not only the evening hours but the already-in-place wedding arch Mortimer and Celeste were married with just Alex as a witness.

They celebrated in their own sweet way. ;)

Contessa Celeste is a Pleasure Sim with a lifetime wish to become Captain Hero, She is a super neat freak and autonomously cleans anything and everything. 

She has a wish to 'bite someone' and Mortimer had the wish to 'be bitten'.

*Bleh*.

Of course there is no need for the double bed now, but the room is just arranged for two coffins rather than getting rid of the original furniture.

and so the Vampires sleep the day away...

Alex comes home from school with a friend,

It's Ricky Cormier, he stays and chats until Alexander has to go to his teen job in Law Enforcement.

The Vampires awaken at dusk.

Contessa Celeste finds herself with child.

Alexander is buying a special potion from the Matchmaker...

It's a gift for his Dad.

Mortimer is happy to take the potion.

and both Celeste and Alex are happy too fulfilling their wishes to see Mortimer become human again.

Alex feels his work here is done and heads to college.

He joins a new dorm which we will see fairly soon.

Meanwhile the Contessa just leaves the house at night to work in the Law Enforcement field.

It's a harsh winter and she happily warms her hands on the fire while Mortimer catches up with the news.

Sunday comes around quickly and Cassandra and Alex are back for a visit with Darren Dreamer.

Cassandra had been hoping for a chance to get to know her new Stepmother but Celeste is worn out.

ah, for good reason.. as soon as their guests leave Celeste goes into labour...

She has a son called Grigor.

As daylight quickly arrives Celeste hands their son to Mortimer before she runs upstairs to her coffin,

and Mortimer becomes a 'new' dad for the second time this round!

Summary- it wasn't my intention to have Mortimer marry or have any more children but the heart wants what the heart wants I guess. Mortimer's ltw is to max his skills and he's getting quite close but the baby wish gave him a nice boost of aspiration too.
