It's time for Johnny's story now and while he had moved into Ophelia's Aunt's creepy old bungalow they soon decided it was time to start afresh and they moved in here to this Mansion & Gardens house as the sale of the old house gave them enough funds.
Johnny wasted no time in proposing, Ophelia said yes and immediately called a wedding party.
As the guests started to arrive Pascal Curious & Bella Goth got pink hearts for each other while I wasn't looking... :D
The house is in the Nigmos name and so Johnny became Johnny Nigmos.
The party was a great success, I love seeing Vidcund smustling with Trisha Traveller here. :D
After the party ended the couple threw themselves into skilling, Ophelia is working on her skills for her Law Enforcement career and Johnny has yet to find Journalism but he needs to learn to cook.
Ophelia had bagged lots of goodies from her Aunt's house and Johnny needs Creativity, he harvested one of Ophelia's hydroponic plants so he could re-seed some more.
They decided to try for a baby straight away.
Wow, that worked fast.
Neither was working on Tuesday so they visited H&M in Strangetown.
They bought phones and made some new friends.
It's really bugging me that Johnny & Ophelia hate this room. I've tried changing the carpets, the wallpaper and adding new decor but the environment score is still horrible.
Ophelia showcased her first baby bump that afternoon.
Then, in a drastic measure (because I can't let it go) I took all the walls down between the kitchen and lounge area. Still nothing.
But when I took away the archways into the porch and put a normal door there, the room score shot up.
This is the downstairs view. I may eventually get rid of the porch or open it up as it makes the living area too dark for my taste. But at least my fix worked and the score is good again.
While Ophelia played Piano Johnny made his 5th best friend in his sister Jill.
On Wednesday Ophelia's father-in-law came by and they enjoyed a game of chess,
Johnny found the Journalism career early Thursday.
He loves to talk to Ophelia's tummy.
No promotion for Johnny today but he was happy to be contributing to the family funds.
Which is good because he now has 2 more mouths to feed!
Two blonde haired, green eyed babies, a boy and girl. Their son is called Kit, kind of after Johnny's Grandmother Kitty, and their daughter is named Willow after Ophelia's Mother.
Here we go again....
Ophelia could not wait to call a Nanny and follow Johnny to work on Friday! It's her first shift of the week as she should have gone Monday but was too busy getting married....
The Nanny has a 'fun' day of up and down the stairs and at one point both babies were left lying on the floor while she went off to watch tv...
Johnny arrived home sooner than expected having been fired for poor choices on a chance card. It took Johnny practically a week to find the job and now he's fired and in a terrible mood! Great!
His buddy Robert Kim wandered onto the lot which was great for Johnny's social and fun. He was soon back to his happy self.
Ophelia showed her next pregnancy and got a promotion to Detective.
and Ophelia helped Kit into toddlerhood.
The Twins are both nice and outgoing with Willow being very active as well.
Saturday evening was spent teaching them some important life skills.
On Sunday Johnny's family came to visit.
Lovely Grandma Jenny went straight upstairs to sit and play with Kit...
and had some fun with Willow.
Then ran downstairs when he heard Ophelia screaming.
Another son joined the family in the very early hours of Monday morning and so we leave the family knee deep in babies until next time!
Summary-
Whew, it never really seems that exciting a round but it's so intense when babies join the household, sometimes it's too busy to even take pictures. :D
Ophelia of course is a Family Sim and now wants 10 kids... a wish I hope rolls away but we will see when we are back with them in sync when we come to 'N' next round.
It was really nice that Pol kept coming round of his own accord, he's a sucker for his family that alien. :)
That was a lovely round! I have never played this house, and my first thought about the low environment score was that the room needs more windows. Strange that it was the arched doorways that kept the score so low!
ReplyDeleteLove the babies, and that they are named after their great-grandparents - what's the youngest son called?
Thanks there certainly weren't any dull moments!
DeleteI agree the house needs more windows, the porch may have to go next time. I read something online that said sometimes removing walls helps so I tried that first. It's a nice spacious house and garden though.
Oh yes I forgot that, the latest arrival is called Pepe after Ophelia's Grandfather. :)
