Nervous Subject

 

Here we are for the 6th story in a row from Strangetown- this time for Nervous Subject who finally got away from the Beaker household to rent his own rather lovely apartment. It's got one bedroom and has an open plan living/dining/kitchen area.

Here's our Mohican sporting Nervous who brought a colleague home from his Criminal Career.

Nervous is a Family Sim of course whose lifetime wish is to reach his Golden Anniversary.

The next morning after doing the crossword Nervous checked for job prospects and found the Military career, he decided to switch as he would rather do good than bad. 

Also he looks pretty cool in his Uniform. :D

After work he is invited out by some old and new friends to the Sugar Cube Bowling Lanes.

Nervous enjoys spreading gossip about General Buzz to Uma Zaidi.

In fact he enjoys spreading gossip to anyone and about anyone!

On Wednesday Nervous had the day off and decided to get out there and see the world.

He wished for a Mountain getaway and found himself at the Axe Wood Campground where it is free to stay as long as you don't mind sleeping in a tent.

Nervous enjoyed getting to know some of the other holidaymakers while they fished in the vast Lake.

He tried digging for treasure and found himself a map to a secret location.

He went to find it straight away and met the mysterious B.J Bigfoot who taught him how the locals greet each other.

The next day he went to the Lumber Mill where he tried his hand (or feet) at log rolling and won.

He went on a trip and disturbed a nest of very angry bees.

He then very nearly took his own head off when attempting to axe throw.

After all that excitement, the next day he found a market and got himself some warmer clothing.

He caught his biggest fish yet!

Then at the 3 Lakes Plaza he asked Emmy Hourvitz on a date and she said yes.

They talked, they danced and they toasted each other.

Emmy even let Nervous steal a bite of her food.

They shared their first kiss.

and finished their date cuddling under the stars.

You don't find a 3 bolt love very often. :)

Soon though Nervous was back home and having to pay his bills. It's nice that Emmy dropped their 'great date' flower off all the way from the Mountains.  Nervous couldn't wait to see her again so called to invite her to stay.

When he woke up he called work with his 'really bad cough'...

*snigger*

Just as well he was at home as Emmy turned up just around 10am and Nervous couldn't wait to kiss her...

and when they came inside he was still kissing her.

Talk about sweeping her off her feet... she said 'Yes' though!

Wasting no time and because Nervous had no idea how long Emmy would stay, he called a couple of friends and chose the outdoor venue of L'Amore Weddings for the ceremony.

Emmy is now Mrs Subject. :)

Emmy is a Knowledge Sim who wishes to be a Mad Scientist one day, she brought a healthy 19K to the household. She wishes to have a baby while Nervous wishes to have a kitten! :D

He was pretty pleased with his wedding night though and couldn't stop thinking about it.

Baby Bump number 1 on Saturday means that's Emmy 1 (baby), Nervous 0 (kitten). :D

On Sunday the new Junior Officer had a day off and awoke to find that Emmy had put the Christmas decorations up while he was sleeping.

Nervous made some Santa cookies.

He asked his friends Bella and the Curious brothers to come over to visit,

and they spent most of the afternoon in the communal hot tub.

It was a lovely visit though and afterwards Nervous and Emmy stayed up late skilling and calling friends but Santa didn't come. :(

The Gyspy did though, she left a lamp and upon summoning the genie Nervous made a wish for Fortune. He got one sack of money straight away for 10K,

the next woke him up (7K) the same time Emmy's second bump woke her up,

and a third sack (4K), arrived as Nervous was about to take his morning shower!

Summary-

Will there be another sack of money next time? I think sometimes you get 4, the last being 1K. But I had to leave it there as time had run out.

It was a good round for Nervous and I'm glad he's found Emmy. I think Santa didn't come because either he doesn't like apartments or because they didn't have a fireplace but they enjoyed their Christmas party without him.

Nervous and Emmy have just over 58K in their bank account and will definitely be moving to a house next time so they can raise their family, and maybe Nervous will get a kitten. :D
