Jane Stacks

 

Hi Jane Stacks from Strangetown's S.S.U, you've just graduated and yet it's the first time you're officially being played. :D

Jane is a Family Sim with a LTW to reach her Golden Anniversary, she is engaged to the Campus Streaker Grant McAuley.

The first thing that happened was Martin proposed to Heather and she said yes! 

Jane threw a Graduation party but it's odd that she's the only one in a robe. 

Winter on campus is so much fun, they snowball fight for hours.

Not sure poor Ty will ever get his colour back. :D

It was a great party for Jane and the taxi arrived to take her to Strangetown.

She moved into this house from the Lots & Houses bin, I had to strip it bare for Jane to afford it. (It was surrounded by a lake as well). It's called Harmonious Heaven and I realise now that I gave the same house to the Picaso's before their acrimonious split.

This is what's left when Jane moved in. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms but just one bed from Jane's backpack and downstairs has a small fitted kitchen, table, Jane's sewing bench and a toilet/sink.

Because Family Sim Jane wanted a baby, naturally, she invited Grant over and he agreed to move in. He brought 13K to the house so they could afford some seating, a bookcase, shower and some carpets/wallpaper.

Grant is a Knowledge Sim who wishes to become a Mad Scientist. He has really decent skills already- 

4 Cooking, 6 Mechanical, 1 Charisma, 7 Body, 10 Logic, 2 Creativity and 10 Cleaning. Jane already had 13 friends and Grant added a couple more.

Because Jane doesn't need a job for her LTW she can put her degree (3.6 Physics)  to good use and chose to go into the Paranormal field where she will start tonight as a Psychic Phone Pal. Which is level 1. What is the point in college if you don't get the big boost? Was it because Jane found the job in the newspaper perhaps?

The welcome wagon of Pollination Technician #9 (Pol) and General Buzz Grunt arrived along with Tank Grunt (out of shot).

Jane left for work and Grant took a shower, then came out the shower naked and went to sleep... naked.

After a freshen up in the morning he was still naked, looked for his Science job but didn't find it today. Jane had arrived home but with no promotion.

Grant then served pancakes, naked.

Jane had the wish to get married so proposed they walk to a community lot...

and they arrived thus so... Grant sporting his (thank goodness) best Ken Doll/Action Man look.

I'm loving Jane covering her eyes here. :D

Surely he won't get married naked...

eeks....

Suffice it to say this was the best picture I could get! :D

Grant did get changed when I made him. This lot was a residential house in the lots & houses bin called Abode de l'amour but I tweaked it a little, changed it to a Community lot and called it L'Amore Weddings, it's a nice outdoor party venue for this Spring/Summer only Neighbourhood.

The outdoors was already set up for a wedding so all they needed were guests.

After the wedding they went to H&M, which in hindsight they should have done first, but nonetheless got themselves some new formal and daytime outfits more suited to the seasons.

Funnily enough though they arrived home as they left (clothed or not) then tried for a baby on their wedding night.

Think Grant must've been looking for the aspirin after such a big party... :)

On Wednesday Grant found the Science Career and will start as a Science Teacher today owing to his good skills.

It never hurts to brush up on a few more though.

Jane is now a Conspiracy Theorist. 

After a quick nap she awoke to find herself feeling rather nauseous.

Grant got a chance card on his first day... hmmm decisions decisions...

Grant picked the fun choice and while he didn't need the Logic skill he did the Charisma.

Jane started working on some more curtains for the house.

A little after 3pm her first baby bump appeared.

An exhausted Grant finished work as an Inventor...

As he was eligible to walk for a double shift Jane persuaded him to.... and he arrived back later extremely exhausted but with another promotion to Scholar and a nice bonus.

which Jane spent most of it on a new family bathroom.

Grant is now a Top Secret Researcher and my my, that looks like a rather large second baby bump. Jane is a little unfit though so maybe that's why.  

On Thursday the Gypsy Lady came and left a lamp for Grant. Jane has a craving for pancakes at any time of day.

On Friday it's baby time!

Twins again! Strangetown is going to be overrun soon.

A daughter called Sophie and a son called Macauley (in a nod to Grant's former surname for he is now a 'Stacks').

There is plenty of room for the twins to have separate rooms.

While Jane napped Grant looked after the babies.

On Saturday before work Jane earned her Gold Sewing Badge.

Grant found a dug out hole from a stray dog and figured he'd try his luck digging for treasure, he found a map to Takemizu Village.

Grant grew the twins up.. first Macauley who is very Outgoing and Playful,

Then Sophie who is very Active, Playful and Nice!

Jane finished work with a promotion to Tarot Card Reader.

There is no day/night when you have a young family! You just rely on coffee and wits to teach them some skills.

But it is officially Sunday afternoon and Jane invited her college buddies over to meet her family.

Grant changed into some summer clothes but poor Ty looks like he'll be pale forever.

Then it was time to say goodbye to their friends and bedtime for the twins.

Grant seemed to change into his original clothing at will when he bothered to get dressed of course and this is where we leave he and Jane, trying for another baby!

Summary-

Another crazy week, I really enjoyed how it played out though and it was hilarious Grant turning up at his wedding naked. :D

Every time Grant had a shower he just stepped out and went about his business with no clothes on. The only time he got dressed was when I made him and when he went to work. 

It will be interesting to see if he turns up that way during other households' turns!
