Biggs Family

 

Our next YA student and on the alphabetical list of play is Marla Biggs. She is a Student at the Académie Le Tour Uni which in my game is established in Pleasantview.

I placed Marla into a 6 bedroom Dorm with fellow Freshmen Chaz Whippler, Emily Lee, Tom Freshe, Phineaus Furley and Ellen Frost. 

The Dorm isn't a bad layout but there is no nice bath and so I sold some excess furniture (don't need tons of desks and wardrobes) and replaced an old shower and toilet with new furnishings.

Marla needed a good old soak after working out for a skill point she needed. She is a Knowledge Sim with a wish to become a World Class Ballet Dancer. She is really nice, really shy and really lazy... hmm not sure that career is the best choice for Marla!

and also has a chat with Ellen Frost.

Chaz and Tom were there when the Dorm cook set fire to dinner, luckily the sprinkler system kicked in and no one was hurt.

Marla took the time to greet a fellow student. 

She worked on her assignment.

and made sure her fellow Dormies got their necessary skills as well as doing one assignment in order to pass the semester.

Another passerby...this is Jenny Copur and before the year is out her and Marla become fast friends.

 Marla is hoping to get a hold of some of the Secret Society members she's heard about but so far there has been no limo.

The end of the first semester flew by though and Marla and friends all made the grade.

Marla celebrated by buying herself a Robot station, she's churning out toy robots.

Marla felt the whole Dorm could do with letting off some steam and so they went Downtown to Midnight Flows.

Marla met the Contessa Celeste Welsh and spent a while chatting.

Her and Phineaus sang some karaoke, Marla was terrible and shy and never wishes to do this again. 

Marla enjoyed breakfast with her fellow dormies and always joined in the conversations.

She met and greeted their postal service person.

Her and Emily are now good friends.

But Marla still enjoys time to herself and her thoughts.

She finally gained a Bronze badge in Robotics.

and soon made her first Water Bot.

Another successful pass rate for the Dormies.

and Marla finished the year on the Dean's list and with a GPA of 4.0

This year flew by for Marla. She had no particular wishes for skills or meeting people and I just had to go with the flow. She's in Biology and showed no wish to change her Major so I'll keep her there for now.
No luck with the Secret Society members this year either. Next outing will be on Campus I think!
