Riley Family

 

Here we are at the Riley's apartment in Belladonna Cove.

We've already been here once this round to visit with Vivian & Etsu Cho who live on the ground floor. The Riley's, Timothy and Sally live on the first floor.

Timothy is a widow who lives in the apartment with his daughter Sally, her mother died from electrocution although it's not clear how and if it was in this apartment! Timothy has a word with the Landlord to check all the appliances are up to date and serviced.

Timothy is a Knowledge Sim with a lifetime wish to be Chief of Staff, he has very good skills but didn't find the job today.

He went to visit Vivian after Sally and Etsu came home from school.

As Sally came home with an A+ Timothy allowed her and her friends to play in the apartment and on the playground until 6pm when they had to go home for supper.

He helped Sally with her assignment before it was time for bed.

On Tuesday with no job to go to and no prospect in the ads Timothy passed the time by talking to Nery Turner,

and he visited a fellow resident up on the top floor.

Sally bought Kali Patel home from school and they played and talked until they were firm friends.

On Wednesday after Sally left for school Timothy walked to the local coffee shop where he networked not for a job sadly, but for a discount on furnishings.

After school he took Sally to Red's Diner for a treat.

They had a nice dinner, met some neighbours and started to learn the newest dance, the Smustle!

Sally made a best friend before school on Thursday. Still no luck on the job front for Timothy so he spent some time watching the cooking channel.

He had his usual daily wish to visit Vivian. 

A walkby called Vamsi gave him a free sample of a very large tv!

Sally and Etsu enjoyed a game of catch in the back yard until a wolf distracted Sally. Thankfully it was a friendly one.

On Saturday a pizza arrived!

It was called for by the Landlord who was hosting a gathering (in Timothy's apartment), but he rather stupidly decided to try and pet a skunk and well, let's just say he had to go home to shower. :D

The Goodies/Newson's also live in the block (although they are not the version I am playing) but they enjoyed the gathering nonetheless.

As is often the case when my back is turned (in this case I was watching Sally and the younger Newson's out on the playground) Timothy decided to leap into Vivian's arms and they fell in love.

But that isn't the end of the day as it was also Sally's teen birthday!

Here she is all grown up, she rolled Popularity and wishes to Max her skills. Random. :D

I gave her Knowledge as a Secondary aspiration to tie in with that.

I didn't do a lot to her kiddie room,

Just changed the desk and added a poster or two.

The reason being that Timothy asked Vivian & Etsu to move in the very next day.

and so the bedroom changed again! A new bed was added and the desk gone and replaced with two bedside tables. Etsu is loving her new bed. :D

Vivian's big wish upon moving in was to get married and so a swift engagement and a visit to St.Simius were on the cards that afternoon.

Back home they had their first meal as a new family, and after the rest of the day living in this apartment I decided it was way too small for them so I moved them.

 This is an apartment up on the hill called Audrey Manor and the Riley's have moved to the Penthouse apartment which we will find them at, next round!

Summary-

A good week for the Riley household. Timothy never had any luck finding his career but hopefully next time. Sally had got herself a teen job as a Birthday Party Mascot just before they moved in and Vivian is still in the Law Enforcement field. Etsu should turn teenager next round and it will be interesting to see if she and Sally wish for or indeed go to college.
