The Goodies have just moved into this lovely house in Veronaville. They can afford it as they combined with the Newson family like they have done once before in my game.
The teens Gavin and Ginger have already left for school while kids Gabriella and Gallagher chat with Faith and Herbert and the toddlers Georgia and Garrett make best friends.
Once the kids have walked to school Faith and Herbert spend the morning teaching the toddlers to walk.
At lunchtime the welcome committee of Titania Summerdream and Patrizio & Isabella Monty arrive.
They stay some time and are quite content to chat amongst themselves while the Goodies continue spending time with the toddlers.
Faith and Herbert help Gavin and Ginger with their assignments after school.
then it's the older twins turn to take care of the younger twins while Faith and Herbert have a much needed sleep.
On Tuesday Family Sim Ginger met the paperboy, she wished to reach her Golden Anniversary and while she has plenty of time for the adult stuff it can't hurt to make some friends.
Faith is content to stay at home and watch the little ones while Herbert got a job in Science.
After school Ginger brought home Desdemona Capp.
Gabriella and Gallagher can easily get their fun levels up after school with some 'red hands'.
They also have a new craft table where they not only learn some skills they improve their relationship with one of their young siblings.
Herbert enjoys going out to meet new neighbours. Both he and Faith have LTW's to be tops of a career but that is unlikely.
Gavin is a Fortune Sim with a wish to be a Business Tycoon, luckily he found his teen job today and will start tomorrow.
The beauty of Elder caregivers is that they are most often awake before the toddlers and so are never grumpy at being woken.
The small kitchen counter is getting a little overcrowded at meal times.
Herbert decided to start a garden.
Faith wished to fish and most luckily a large pond was already in the garden.
Perhaps it was the fresh air that gave them both a 'make out' wish... thankfully all the children were too preoccupied to notice!
It was time for Gallager's birthday!
and Gabriella... finally no more toddlers in the house!
Hermia Capp had stopped by and Gavin made a fast friend of her.
Some of Herbert's hard earned wages were used to change the kitchen a little and add a large table.
The next day Gavin got his first A+!
Faith found a job in the Entertainment career now that all the children were at school she could spare a few hours to earn some cash.
Ginger brought a friend home from school on Thursday.
The younger kids too brought some friends home and they all played on the monkey bars.
The Headmaster arrived at some point (invited by Gavin) and when the visitors had gone home he sat down to a nice supper with the families.
A successful visit saw all 6 Newson's accepted into Private school!
Hopefully this is the last morning that they all have to rush to do their homework before getting ready for school!
They do look rather smart as they head off for their last school day of the week.
Ginger came home with an A+ too.
Finally they are all in good enough moods to do their homework before bed... :D
Faith came home with a little promotion.
On Saturday despite the rain Ginger and Gavin played ball with two of their siblings.
Faith went off to work as a Birthday Party Mascot.
The rest of the family spent time learning a cooking skill or two,
and the younger 4 had fun building some blocks to enhance their mechanical skills.
While everyone else was at work Ginger took her siblings to the park.
They enjoyed some chatter and games,
and some smores around the bonfire.
Even though they never panicked at the fire they all came home stinky and in need of baths!
Gavin got himself a promotion to Mailroom Technician.
Ginger made her famous Grilled Cheese Sandwiches for supper.
then passed out when the youngsters had gone to bed... Gavin is hoping for Chili next time...:D
On Sunday Ginger greeted her friend the newspaper guy.
Another set of skills is learned.
Ginger suddenly remembered to pay the very overdue bills! whew!
Later that afternoon Gabriella is the first to become a teen. She rolled Fortune and wished to become The Law.
Her twin Gallager rolled Knowledge and wished to be a Ballet Dancer. :D
Herbert came home with a promotion to Field Researcher and shooed young Garrett from the monkey bars into bed. Well, it is a school night.
Gabriella and Gallagher visit the Stratford Strip where they chat to some new people and buy some clothes.

Summary:-
This is the second time I've merged these two families and it works out very well, while they may not struggle as they certainly would have without some kind of caregivers, it's still quite hard work to keep so many Sims happy.
They all seem to enjoy skilling and making friends so it was a nice week that flew by.
College wishes come and go so next round a decision will be made as to who will go, or will they all go? :)
It is really a good idea to merge these two households. The Goodies aren't lonely, and the Newsons have adult help and supervision.

They achieved a lot this week, even all six getting into Private School!
Yes it made life a little easier for the rest of the children to have the Goodies' in control.
