Amar Bigfoot- Round 1

Here we are still in Pleasantview to visit Amar Bigfoot, he'd moved in with the Biggs' after their honeymoon in 3 Lakes but wanted his own place and story.

This lot is tucked right at the edge of Pleasantview and only cost around 12,000 Simoleons.

You can see why... it is very basic, one room and a tiny washroom, it does have a fridge, cooker and fire though.

The shower is out the back, such is the lack of space but for Bigfoot it will be perfect.

Bigfoot needed some social and talked to the resident paperkid until the welcome wagon arrived...

and here they are, Sanjay Ramaswami, Dina Caliente and Emily Lee.

Bigfoot easily made friends with Sanjay, who seemed to love his Bigfoot Hugs!

Dina though not so much, she pummeled his back and moaned until Bigfoot put her down.

After they'd gone Bigfoot set about cooking some supper...

sigh... burnt lobster. Unusual as one thing about Amar is- he has full skills, all badges and in his inventory were 3 copies of the map to the Hidden Burrow at 3 Lakes.
He's also a Popularity Sim who wishes to earn 100K for his lifetime want.

He was later invited out by Emily but before the taxi could even arrive this pop up appeared (which has happened quite a lot this round with other families).

Often time when it happens I let the Sim/s go to the pre-arranged lot anyway but Bigfoot was tired so ignored the taxi and found a job for tomorrow. He chose the Slacker career.

Good job Bigfoot doesn't mind sleeping under the stars as I don't think there would be room for his hammock indoors.

As he had the funds he bought a Florist bench and crafted a Snapdragon which gave his room a nice scent.

Then a toy bench where he put the water wiggler to good use.

He greeted Juan Raemon but he too was not a fan of the Bigfoot hugs!

Bigfoot made a best friend of Tina Traveller though.

Then it was time for work... look at the smart outfit he wears to go to work. :)

Not only did he get a promotion but he got a nice gift from his work colleagues too.

On Wednesday a trip to the Woodland Park was in order,

Bigfoot got Brandi Broke and others to join him fishing which improved all their relationships and he was quite smug when he caught a giant catfish.

He settled at his desk to enjoy said catfish once he'd cooked it. (The plant was the gift he got from work).

Thursday saw him make friends with Emily Lee.

He swept his yard of the autumn leaves and created more goodies for his backpack.

On Friday Bigfoot brought a colleague home and alongside it his co-worker's gift of a brand new oven.

After selling the old one and rearranging the kitchen a little Amar went back to sweeping leaves, stopping only to growl a little at a passing wolf- who growled back.

On Saturday Bigfoot was asked on an outing with his colleague Amy Cormier. She likes the hugs. :D

They sang some cheesy karaoke songs,

and Bigfoot made a bit of money at the poker table.

On Sunday he cooked up a Baked Alaska.

He had Brandi and the boys over, thankfully Brandi too liked the Bigfoot hugs!

Before she left Bigfoot gifted her a water wiggler for the kids.

and that's where we leave Bigfoot this week, snoozing away in his hammock.

Summary-
I had played a Bigfoot once before, long ago but had forgotten their good skills/badges.
Also the gifts from work- this week he got the plant, a chair and an oven and is currently a Freelance Web Designer. I haven't quite decided his path in life, maybe a business where he can sell all his wares? Or he'd make an excellent employee with all his skills... heh. :)

  1. I loved reading about Amar's first week in Pleasantview! Since I have never really played the original Bigfoot scenario, let alone have a Bigfoot become playable, I didn't even know he has a special hug :-D
The sight of him in his work outfit is quite something!
That tiny house is so small it won't even hold a double bed. I think I gave it to Chester Gieke in original Maximiliania, many years ago, but haven't used it since.

    1. I had forgotten about the 'hug' too, and the gifts from work. Amar looks quite posh in his waistcoat and bowler hat. :D

Yes Amar is quite a Sim, he needs more money to be able to buy the other craft items but on the whole he's easy to look after and the home suits him there in the woods. :)
