Dorian Benson is next on the list and a new addition to the neighbourhood of Riverblossom Hills' La Fiesta Tech University.
During round 1 on Jules O'Mackey's turn at the Secret Society house, Dorian stupidly ate the cake from the cowplant... here is the moment of his soon-to-be demise.
Thankfully all was not lost as Jules was already friends with Dorian and therefore called the Grim Reaper to resurrect him! Her wish was granted and while she used copious amounts of funds from the Secret Society household, she didn't let on.
Dorian left the lot when Jules did and turned up at her Greek House to move in, but I had him move straight out as I want the Sorority to be girls only.
So I added Dorian to this 5 room dorm which currently houses the newest Gold Gardener Jacob Martin,
Sandy Roth,
and Melody Tinker and William Parmeley.
Dorian is a Fortune Sim who wishes to earn 100K. He declared Physics as his Major just as Coach Bear started screaming at him to work out.
Sandy Roth was screaming for a different reason as a Cactus tree caught fire outside.
Jacob meanwhile (who wants to have 30 best friends) has just made another.
Later that night William was whisked away to join the Secret Society. He stayed until he'd gained at least one new skill and became Big Man on Campus.
Jacob made another best friend when he gifted Dorian a cell phone, he must have had 2 in his backpack.
Dorian had got quite friendly with Phoebe Deppiesse in the 5 minutes he was at the Sorority (she'd moved in last round too).
Melody loves the new exercise bike but forgot in this Spr/Spr/Sum/Summer hood that she overheats, a lot. This is her passing out.
Incidentally Melody too is in her Freshman Year, Sandy is a Sophomore whilst William is a Junior and Jacob a Senior.
The next morning everyone is on the phone to various friends and Professor's.
The next night it's Melody's turn to join the Secret Society. Dorian's moving in and befriending everyone must have been the catalyst.
I feel I should be slightly concerned that a penguin appeared on a college lot that has no Winter.
The next morning it was Sandy's turn to overheat, the bicycle draws them all in!
Dorian however was the first to finish the Semester with everyone following during the next few hours.
For once they all sat down for a meal together.
Then it was time to work on term papers and skills for the next semester.
Melody was the first to finish her term paper and gave herself a well deserved pat on the back.
Sandy had just got out of the shower when a strange guy came into the bathroom, clearly he ignored the 'girls only' sign. :D
Lots of Sims are here to welcome Sandy into the Secret Society. She too earned some skills and is now Big Woman on Campus.
This Summer has been punishing in the dorm and Dorian woke up and promptly passed out due to overheating.
The Gypsy lady came and left a lamp.... for whom?
It's not Dorian, it's Melody that earned the lamp, she was so excited she called her Mum Wanda over to show her, but then her Professor also stopped by so Melody had to talk to her- so Dorian got to know Wanda instead.
Dorian knuckled down and got his term paper finished.
Then made best friends with Sandy,
but later passed out after being on the exercise bike, thankfully William was around to douse him with cold water.
Jacob harvested the last of his crops, it's been very difficult to get decent crops with no aids and a spring/summer season all year but he did it, and just in time!
It's his Graduation party and look!
he got his 30 best friends! I didn't realise he was even close.
Of course it wasn't his lifetime wish (that is to be a Media Magnate) but as a Popularity Sim 30 best friends is the ultimate goal. He was waved off by Sandy as he headed back to Riverblossom Hills.
A little later Dorian finished his Freshman Year to wrap up the round.
Summary-
A fun round actually, got a run of college just now but it's always entertaining.
I didn't need a hack to get more visiting Sims on a lot, just used the Maxis Cheat IntProp MaxNumofVisitingSims 12 (12 is the number I set it at, I guess you can choose any number within reason). I started using it sometime last round.
Dorian was quite happy to please, pretty sociable and didn't make me buy too many things!
Definitely weird about the penguin and not the first odd thing that's happened this round so far but no crashes so I'll keep playing until I can't. :D
I have the penguin turn up in summer in my hoods too, So don't think it is a glitch or anything to worry about. Might use that Maxischeat as their is hardly anybody around when my sims visit lots. :)

DeleteYes the cheat is really useful, I was only getting one or two Sims before so I slowly upped the number to 12 as I've no idea what the max would be and don't want to push my luck. :)
The penguin turning up in summer is a clear sign that climate change has reached our Sims, too!

Oh, that exercise bike!! It's as bad as the hot tub, keeping hold of our Sims for way too long unless we make them do something else.
Sandy is really Sandra, I just prefer Sandy :)
