Here we are at Académie Le Tour in Pleasantview.
Living in this small rental are Jonah Powers, his girlfriend Roxie Sharpe and her brother Edwin.
They were missing a few important basics such as a sofa, bookcase & mirror and I added a chess table too with their funds.
While Jonah & Roxie are Romance Sims he wishes to be a Celebrity Chef while she wants to become a Rock God(ess). They go to class together this semester even though he majors in Philosophy and she Psychology.
Jonah asked Roxie on a date which was fun to start but her brother was kind of in the way, (doing his assignment last minute before he went to class).
When Edwin left for class Jonah & Roxie went downtown to the 50's diner.
They goofed around in the photo booth,
and held hands before a nice dinner,
they even reached dream date status even though neither rolled any physical wishes toward each other.
Last home for the evening is Edwin, the serious Knowledge sim who wishes to be a Mad Scientist- he is quite smitten with Delilah O'Feefe after her round but we will see what happens during his.
Edwin met a fellow student who shared some gossip about the town's founding father, Mortimer Goth.
Without directing them both Jonah & Roxie clean up the dishes and kitchen after breakfast.
After a long day of classes the gang head out to enjoy themselves at Midnight Flows,
Edwin and Delilah declare their love for each other,
and Jonah and Roxie murder a karaoke song or two!
Later the Cow Mascot pops in and chats in quite a friendly manner to Edwin.
Jonah slept in after their late night and only made it to their first final by the skin of his teeth still in his pj's. He's only got a 2.8 GPA as he's too busy having fun to study really. :D
He started the new semester by ringing his Professor for a chat in the hopes it will boost his grades a little.
It doesn't take much though for Roxie to convince him to come outdoors for a game of ball.
The next morning they chat over a bowl of cereal,
and Jonah joined Edwin on the roof for a jamming session. This is at least not a distraction for Jonah as he sorely needs Creativity to progress the year.
Of course after class Jonah is easily distracted again by the sight of some pretty girls but at least one is a Secret Society member so if Jonah can get in he may be able to help his poor GPA problem.
After some serious (for Jonah) study final day is here and Jonah is fairly confident he will scrape through the year. He just needs a little nap first...
But he made it! It might not be the best GPA but he's working on improving in his Junior Year!
Summary-
A fun year for Jonah and gang, while he and Roxie do have red hearts for each other they never show any romantic wishes, in fact Edwin's Knowledge aspiration seems to have rubbed off on them and lately they just want to study.
No luck with the Secret Society for anyone this time but we'll be back again very soon for the Sharpe's so we will see what happens then.
I am sure it is only a matter of time before Jonah will be part of the Secret Society! It suits him, doesn't it, that he gets distracted so easily and does not study as hard as he should.
ReplyDeleteHow odd that he and Roxie have not rolled romantic wishes about each other, but how nice that Edwin and Delilah are now and item :-)
Perhaps Jonah & Roxie are not meant to be, time will tell. He does seem to suit his lazy persona though and it's nice for a change to not try too hard to get his grades up, I'm just barely getting his grades out of the red each time. :)
