Nigmos- Ophelia

 

Here we are in Strangetown at the home of Olive Specter. We are here for her niece Ophelia Nigmos this time around.

Here are Ophelia and Olive making friends. Ophelia is a Family Sim who wishes to see her Golden Anniversary, she and Johnny Smith are pink hearted friends and maybe they will end up together in time.

One thing that has always fascinated me about this house is that Olive can walk through her walls! 

She is quite an enigma, married 3 times, engaged 4 and her bio says that she enjoys collecting mushrooms, sharpening sticks and excavating her yard! The latter is certainly true as there are an abundance of graves in her yard, lots of NPC's, a couple of family members and it seems all her ex-partners! She also did woohoo with the Grim Reaper and produced her son Nervous Subject who was taken away by social services as a youngster and (unfortunately for him) placed in the care of Loki & Circe Beaker. However Olive has a better relationship with Nervous now and they are friends.

It is that perhaps which incites Nervous to invite his Mother and Ophelia out for the evening. Loki brought his wife Circe and sister Erin along and Nervous brought his friend Pascal.

Ophelia has fun making some tunes...

and much fun (but no skill) on the Dance O'Sphere.

Olive has brought everyone outside to dine, it's nice that she's sitting with her Son and Pascal Curious has joined the other table.

The next day Olive's 'hidden' walls seem to disappear and you can see straight through the house.

Ophelia celebrates her first A+ in part thanks to Olive helping her with homework.

To celebrate they head off lot again.

Olive met Lola Singles who finds the old lady a little strange but is civil nonetheless.

 

Ophelia cooked them up some hot dogs which they enjoyed in the company of a townie.

It was a fun outing to H&M but they had to be getting home...

for Ophelia's surprise birthday party! The Smith family came over of course as well as a couple of other friends.

Ophelia didn't throw any wish for college though of course did shed a tear at what might have been for a moment.

It was a pleasant evening and a great party which inevitably was broken up by the police.

Olive woke up in the night as usual and went outside to clean up some puddles (a nightly occurrence) when she was scared by a ghost.

A quick shower and she got back to cleaning up after the party.

Do you ever feel that someone is looking over your shoulder?

Ophelia woke up refreshed and ready to start her adult life.

She made grilled cheese sandwiches and enjoyed breakfast with her Aunt, then found herself a job in Law Enforcement where she'll start later today.

Sometimes she found her Aunt's behaviour a little odd as she often saw her sitting in amongst the tombstones.

She gave her Aunt a big hug before she left for her shift.

Security Guard... not the nicest of shifts but you have to start somewhere.

Almost as soon as she'd gone the Grim Reaper and his Hula girls came for Olive.

Olive got a nice shiny tombstone and left a little money to Loki (260) and 9,800 to her son Nervous.

Nothing for Ophelia!

After work Ophelia realised what had happened and had a breakdown. (over the death presumably and not the lack of inheritance). :D

She soon got fixed up by the special Doctor.

Then went and had a right old rant at Olive's grave. Ok, maybe it was about the inheritance!

She got scared by one of her Aunt's exes, think it was Earl E. Demise. :D

and spent most of the next day cleaning the yard.

Enough is enough Ophelia thought and she moved all the gravestones to a community lot..

or thought she had.. when she got there none of the graves were there. Oops. 

Ophelia spent the rest of the week working on her skills,

and making friends.

We leave her as she heads to another shift as a Desk Sergeant, and no she's not in 'jail' but it gives her an idea of how those wrongdoers she arrests in the future will feel when they get into trouble!

Summary-

This was actually a fun round save for the many, many puddles and weeds all over the yard every day.

I do have a hack called 'nounlinkondelete' and so I hope that stops any issues that may have occurred when I obviously messed up moving the graves.

I didn't get Ophelia to meet anyone special as it seems she's holding out for Johnny. Time will tell.
