The Curious Brothers

 

Here we are at the home of the Curious Brothers, there's Pascal at the front and behind is blond Vidcund and Lazlo.

When the lot is opened this is unveiled as their home...

However spectacular is looks however I find it a nightmare to play and so reduce it down to this, incidentally increasing the family funds substantially in doing so.

A top down view of the 'old house' shows the angled walls in what made for massive routing issues,

 

and so I changed it to this.. a large lounge area/study, separate kitchen/dining/play area, a nursery and a bathroom. I left the small chess room and the plant room as they were.

I added 3 bedrooms with en suites upstairs for the Brothers.

So, back to the story... Pascal finds himself pregnant! He is a Knowledge Sim with a wish to become a Mad Scientist and is currently in the early stages of the career.

Youngest brother Lazlo is also a Knowledge Sim in the Science field but really desires to be a Game Designer. It would suit his lazy nature if he finds it.

and Middle Brother Vidcund... he's just returned from being abducted by aliens which his brothers both seem worried about but made Vidcund very happy.

Vidcund like his brothers is a Knowledge Sim in the Science career but wishes to become an Educator! He found the job immediately he looked for it.

Fairly soon after that Pascal has an alien baby Daughter.

The brothers welcome little Luna to the household.

Their good buddy Nervous Subject is here scoffing pizza but I don't think it's that sight that is making Vidcund gag!

Poor Lazlo spends most of his time being tired, he can't even finish a meal without collapsing into it.

His siblings enjoy his cooking though!

Once he's refreshed a little Lazlo finds the telescope to search for aliens.

Meanwhile Vidcund shows his pregnancy and also enjoys cuddles with Luna in this very 'green' scene.

Lazlo got a bit more than he bargained for!

He is thrilled though to have met aliens and Pascal seems happy that this brother has done so!

Lazlo found his job in the Gamer career.

He loves Nature and started his own little plot.

The nanny will have her work cut out here I think!

Pascal helps Luna grow up a bit.

They are soon best buddies.

Poor Vidcund got fired after his second shift when he made a poor decision at work.

These brothers' cannot keep away from the telescopes! 

no Abduction tonight though.

As Lazlo shows his own pregnancy he is there to welcome Vidcund's new son, Orion.

Lazlo had a wish to flirt and as he's already got pink hearts with Crystal Vu he asked her over... and then to move in!

She is a Fortune Sim, a Swat Team Leader with a real wish to be a Hall of Famer... her interests are money, to earn it, buy stuff and earn even more.

She walked straight off to work while Lazlo went for a nap.

The next day the Smith family came to visit.

Jenny is the sister of the Curious brothers and really enjoyed meeting her new niece and nephew.

Lazlo decided to go for it and proposed to Crystal...

It didn't go well, she turned him down. :(

oh dear... they are now not in love at all.

Not to be put off Lazlo got his red hearts back but then tried it on too heavily and Crystal once again fobbed him off.

Later... after much...much persuasion she was happily in love again!

Lazlo wasted no time in proposing...

They very quickly became man and wife... is Crystal actually gagging at her new husband?

hmm...

Perhaps Pascal and Vidcund sense the mood and almost hide in the doorway.

As if to prove this may not be the happiest of unions Lazlo heads one way and Crystal the other. :D

The next day Vidcund met Kristin Singles.

Pascal got a nice boost of points using Crystal's new career reward.

Little Luna became a child.

and Orion a toddler!

Vidcund was so thrilled when Orion finally said 'Daddy'. 

Meanwhile upstairs....

Lazlo seems very shocked, not sure holding the baby that way is that good for it though... :D

ooh but just then....

Haha...yes it's Twins!

Lazlo now has two gorgeous green daughters... they are Astra and Pandora.

His garden is coming along well too and he has a Bronze Gardening Badge.

After school Pascal helped Luna with her homework.

Then sprinted outside when he saw Bella Goth walk past! She stopped and chatted a while.

The evening was spent watching a cooking show.

Crystal loves going to work and bringing home colleagues... not sure who has upset whom to have the dustbin knocked over.

On the final day of the week the twins grew up... which took a serious amount of time! Several hours in-between them in the end after actions kept being cancelled.

Nice for Lazlo to show up to his daughter's birthdays!

once again Pascal is at the telescope but he's too old to get pregnant now even if he gets abducted, which he didn't.

and anyway, this house is already full!

Summary..

This was a fun week at the Curious household! I've often had all brother's abducted before and am pleased it happened again.

Having Crystal move in was totally off the cuff but I've never seen two Sims less interested in the other! It will be interesting next round to see how things go. I was hoping for her and Lazlo to have a child but of course I didn't know he was expecting twins at the time!

I love to see the different facial features on the alien babies.. and look forward to comparing them more as they grow up.
