Contender Family

Here we are at 310 Bay View Drive in Belladonna Cove, home to Carlos Contender.

Carlos is a Popularity Sim with a Lifetime wish to be a Hall of Famer... interestingly Carlos is already head of the Athletic Career so there's no way to fulfil that wish because even if he gets fired he can't get an 'adult' job and it's rare that a Sim would get a demotion at his level.

After an uneventful kind of day Carlos got a call from his nephew Benjamin asking him to go play some cards.

They enjoyed a fun filled Karaoke session together too.

But nowhere near as much as the resident Vampire, Count Shea did! hmm, I wonder what he was singing...?

'FANGS for the memory'... 

'I just haven't BIT you yet'...

or maybe that modern hit 'COFFIN on the Hill'....? who knows? But he had fun!

On Tuesday Carlos did his usual warm up before an early morning jog...

He raked the garden of some leaves...

and caught up with his emails.

On Wednesday it was time to work which never goes unnoticed by his neighbours... I mean how many Sims live in a 'hood with someone so Famous as that old Sim Town Quarterback Carlos Contender? 

Carlos had a party after work, invited his niece and family as well as Gabriel Green and Jessica Peterson?

He threw some ribs on the grill...

and a great time was had by all.

He gifted his great niece Sofia a pc... he has no need for a second one and knows she will find it useful down the line.

On Thursday Carlos made his 10th Best Friend in Samantha Cordial.

He paid his bills,

and did some stargazing.

On Friday morning needing a change from the routine Carlos decided to take a vacation!

The taxi came promptly.

 

Carlos picked the nicest hotel of course and was instantly recognised when he checked into their finest suite.

He went on a trip,

swam in the ocean,

built a sandcastle

and met a ghostly Sea Captain who taught him a funny verse or two.

After some digging unearthed a secret map Carlos found himself at the home of a Witch Doctor in need of many repairs around his house...

Carlos pitched in and repaired everything while the Doctor napped on a hammock,

But he eventually seemed satisfied and handed Carlos a nice gift.

Carlos attempted to get a tan but just ended up very red faced.

ooh here is an Island girl, her name is Cara Nanale.

and it looks like Carlos has used his 'gift' the Witch Doctor gave him...

It gave him instant love with Cara.

Carlos went for a relaxing massage....

before jumping headlong into asking Cara to marry him.

She said "Yes"!

They wasted no time and got married right there on the beach...

Afterwards they went back to Carlos' hotel for a slap up meal which didn't quite go according to plan,

however they ended up with free Champagne,

and Lobster!

First time's a charm so they say and Cara was instantly pregnant.

Arriving back home the same time he left (early Friday) Carlos of course bought his new wife back with him. 

He said she could do anything she liked to make herself at home.

So she decided to change the decor... from this dark..

to this light, with a few small alterations.

Carlos hired a Gardener to deal with the messy leaves which left him time to use his Voodoo doll to befriend Christian Love? (I think, I have two sims who look the same!)

Cara, a Knowledge Sim who wished to become Chief of Staff had found her career instantly. She bought her colleague Grant Ebadi home with her.

Carlos couldn't wait to invite his niece over to meet his new wife.

Later that day Cara's pregnancy showed itself.

Carlos is super excited at the prospect of being a Dad.

Cara went out for the evening shift and came back with a promotion to Nurse.

On Sunday The Baldwin's were over for a visit and Cara used her husband's doll to befriend Isabel.

Carlos meanwhile entertained the youngsters (and himself) with building a Snowman in the yard.

He also cooked up a lovely Sunday Roast.

During dessert though his face was an absolute picture when young Marcus let slip about Sofia's recent 'sneaking out' episode!

Just as Carlos and Cara had seen the Baldwin's leave Cara went into labour!

YIKES!!!

Carlos and Cara are proud parents to a son Santos and a daughter Carole.

They move their double bed upstairs for now for ease to have the twins on the ground floor.

Carlos quickly learns what you shouldn't do straight after a feed!

Summary-

This was a fun week with Carlos... at first I had the idea to move Isabel and family in with Carlos but then being motivated by his wishes rather than mine I sent him on holiday and the rest, as they say, is history.

Hopefully Carlos will be around long enough to enjoy his new family next time around.
