Here we are in Pleasantview to visit the Burb's once again at 95 Woodland Drive. John is on the early shift in the Oceanography career. His Lifetime wish is to see 6 grandchildren but at the moment I'm working on his wife Jennifer's LTW of seeing 6 pets reach the top of their career.
Their teenage daughter Lucy is just off to school. She is a Family sim who wishes to see 3 kids go to college!
This is their exceptionally tiny home!
As John returned with a promotion to Whale Tracker I decided it was time to extend and remodel the house using the household funds.
This is the new exterior.
Downstairs...
and upstairs.
Lucy found herself a job in Education. She wants to go to college so hopefully can snag a scholarship or two first.
John is working on a mechanical skill for his next promotion.
Lucy came home with her first promotion while mum Jennifer (who is in the Music career) arrives home without a promotion but still got a good days' pay.
Jennifer's two adult cats Lara & Zorro are parents now to 3 new kittens, Mickey, Jack & Ebony.
So many pets mean they have a room dedicated to themselves. :D
John & Jennifer teach the adult working cats some new tricks. Zorro is in the Service career while Lara is in Showbiz.
Lucy talks to Alon Livingston before school every day.
Jennifer had her friend Nina Caliente over for lunch and as she left John brought a friend and a promotion back. He is a Deep Sea Fisherman now.
Jennifer wished for the best Education for her daughter and a successful Headmaster visit saw that happen later that evening.
John had the day off Wednesday so tended to the household jobs.
Jennifer trained Lara in Playing Dead while Lucy caught up with her homework.
A doubly successful evening saw Lucy reach the top of her teen career and Zorro the top of the Service career.
Although she's currently a Concert Pianist Jennifer loves to rock out on her career reward guitar. Funny how the noise doesn't wake Lucy!
After school on Thursday Lucy went to the local store to buy clothes/jewellery/pet collars and electronics then came home and worked on her cooking skill while her parents' learnt skills of their own.
On Friday it was the kittens turn to grow up. Mickey & Jack first
and Ebony who is a little lighter and stripier than her brothers.
Poor Lucy got fired after deciding to feed her class a bunch of candy.
Jennifer's day was more successful- she is a Symphony Conductor now.
Lucy's mood hadn't improved much by Saturday so she took herself down to the Diner.
She had some nice food and a great game of pool with Alfie Broke and a townie friend.
Back at home Jennifer had put the newly grown kittens into jobs and her and John began the arduous training tasks.
Never one to be a slacker Jennifer returned home from work later that night as a Rock God. Top of career.
On Sunday Jennifer invited her brother Daniel and his family over for lunch.
While Lucy spent her time keeping the sparring twins separated Mary-Sue bent down and spontaneously cleaned the pet beds.
The whole family enjoyed the berry pie that John served up before leaving later that afternoon.
Our resident trio spent some time cementing their friendships on their new mobile phones.
and when Jennifer went to work Lucy & John did some fishing now Spring has arrived.
Later though Lucy made the call to college and left after hugging her dad goodbye.
Summary-
A very busy week for the Burb's. As it was Winter I worked on the pet skills rather than focusing on John- he may or may not get his LTW but he's happy enough for now being a Family sim he's quite easy to keep in Platinum.
We'll head straight to college to see how Lucy is getting on next.
