Natasha Una

 

We have reached 'U' on the alphabetical list and are here in Desiderata Valley at 1080 West Leisure Lane, the home of Natasha Una.

Here she is, that Grilled Cheese loving Sim. Natasha of course has the ability to paint special Grilled Cheese pictures. Her LTW is to eat 200 Grilled Cheese Sandwiches! A feat I have only managed once before. 

Natasha has a fairly decent set of skills, maxed in Creativity, 4 Cooking skills and just one or two of all the other skills. 

The first thing Natasha wanted to do was make some pottery- she had no badges in anything although her house is littered with specimens and pieces of art.

A trip to the Art Hobby lot set Natasha on a journey to find someone to talk about Grilled Cheese with.

No one here was interested... 

Nor at Cover Me Clothing, in fact Violet Jocque was quite rude!

Another special ability Natasha has is to conjure a Grilled Cheese sandwich out of thin air... it also counts toward her LTW but does drain her energy.

Natasha then strolled over to the Round Barn General Store where just coming around the corner the 'electrocuted' Lisa Ramirez was the first Sim to like listening about Grilled Cheese... only the 15th Sim Natasha talked to that day. :D

Natasha ended her day at the Bluewater Baths and Salon.

and out of all the Sims she spoke to Jonathan Allbee not only held attraction to Natasha but he liked hearing about Grilled Cheese.

On Tuesday Natasha had an urge to start on her Sewing Badge.

She found that Nery Turner also enjoyed talking the cheese.

On Wednesday Natasha earned her Bronze Pottery Badge.

She had her good friend Lisa Ramirez (who I expected to turn up 'electrocuted' but didn't) and her cousin Luis Aspir and family come over, as well as Jonathan. Elizabeth Aspir was Natasha's newest best friend.

Now she has a Bronze badge Natasha went on to start creating tea sets.

Later that evening Jonathan called Natasha up on a date and they went to Bernard's Botanical Dining in the Downtown area.

They had a lovely date and are quite smitten with each other.

Later that night though it wasn't only a scary wolf on the lot...

I woke Natasha up so she could call the emergency services,

While she finished the call the Burglar had not only taken a painting but the piano too,

Thankfully the police arrived just after that and caught the burglar after a big fight.

in an act of pure coincidence Jonathan arrived just as the police car was carting away the burglar and left Natasha a date night gift of a new piano! She'd just been given 8K Simoleons in compensation as well!

As soon as it was light on Friday morning Natasha called Jonathan over and invited him to move in..

Then she proposed before this Romance Sim had a fear of it. :D

and also before he had a fear of marriage roll up Natasha took complete advantage and threw a wedding party... who is that guy in the white suit and funny hat you ask?

Well that's the mailman, he'd just been over to collect yesterday's bills and saw there was a party on. :D

Here's our happy couple, I'd had Natasha buy formalwear earlier in the week just in case. 

The whole family gathered and made it a special day for our happy couple.

So Jonathan as we know is a Romance Sim, he is currently in the Business Field but wishes to be a Professional Party Guest. He had bought 15K to the house, a fish tank in his backpack, a Silver Sales Badge and a Bronze Cosmetology badge. He was also fairly handy and happily fixed the trash compactor.

Strangely both Jonathan and Una have exactly the same split on their horoscopes, 2, 8, 2, 6 and 7 but Natasha is a Sagittarius and Jonathan is a Libra.

On Saturday morning while Jonathan was talking to a friend Natasha hurried away from the breakfast table... it seems the wedding night was a little too successful. Jonathan of course fears having a baby so this should be fun.

They spent another Autumn day working on skills and badges.

and over supper Natasha showed her first baby bump while Jonathan had been wondering what movie to watch.

A horror maybe?!

Later the Gypsy came and left a magic lamp for Natasha.

Jonathan found the Slacker career on Sunday morning and will start as a Record Store Clerk on Monday.

He wished to make a wish so summoned the Genie who granted him Lifelong Happiness.

The rest of the afternoon was spent working on their projects.

Until tea time when Luis and family came over to dinner.

Sharon Wirth was walking past and was invited to supper as well. Natasha had gone to bed after showing her next baby bump and so we will leave the house until the next round.

Summary-

I didn't plan for Natasha to meet anyone really but her and Jonathan have good attraction and a new little Una will be here to carry on the family name next time. Hopefully Jonathan's fear of having a baby will have rolled away by then! 

Traveller Family

 

Here we are back in Pleasantview at the Dynamite Duplex which is the new home of the Traveller family that I have chosen to play.

I've never noticed before but does Trent normally have a dinosaur sculpture on his head?!

Their young daughter Tina had already left for school on Monday morning so Trent (who wished to max his skills) and Trisha (who wanted to be Captain Hero but had not found the job that day) started to dig for treasure. Trisha hit a water main while Trent unearthed 2 maps, one for Takemizu Village and one for Twikkii Island, Trisha later found one for The Burrow at 3 Lakes so they had the full set after just a few attempts.

Over a simple sandwich supper they discussed where they should start their first adventure abroad,

but first they were invited on an outing and arrived soon after at the local Art Museum.

They were all very sociable and made new acquaintances and even a few friends over the course of the evening.

The next morning (early before school began) the Shuttle arrived to whisk them away...

To the Campgrounds at Three Lakes in the Mountains.

The first man Trisha met started to beat his chest and it took a while for her to realise that this was Mountain man speak for 'Hello'. 

A long round of fishing began where all the Campers came together to fish and chatter.

A visit to the smooth rock spa saw the Traveller's being taught the local Slap Dance.

After some relaxation in the hot springs they left to get back to the campground as little Tina was exhausted after a very busy first day on holiday.

Trent decided to sleep on a hammock under the stars, it was Autumn and although a little chilly not cold enough for him to freeze.

They enjoyed a few trips. Won a skill, lost a skill and won some money.

They went to the Burrow and met Bigfoot who enjoyed a dance with them.

He was especially taken with Tina and played with her until they were firm friends.

Back at Camp they toasted marshmallows on the campfire.

Trent and Trisha enjoyed a massage and sauna while Tina befriended some of the local kids.

While all 3 Traveller's gained Bronze fishing badges Trisha was the first to catch a Golden Trout.

Sadly though she can't yet cook it due to her non existent cooking skills which were evident when she produced burnt hot dogs for breakfast on their last day.

and like every great holiday it went by too fast and they were soon back home.

Trisha found a job in Education for now and left for work after a quick shower,

This career though was very short lived and after just a couple of hours Trisha had been fired after making a very bad decision at work.

It's funny how Trent wasn't sporting the Dino sculpture on vacation but has it again now he's home?

Tina bought Alfie Broke home from school.

He played for an hour then had to leave so Trisha could help Tina with her homework, Trent was busy in the kitchen.

His day of learning cooking skills paid off when the Headmaster came to visit.

On the acceptance of Tina to private school Trent got a big boost of aspiration as it was his wish to see her well Educated. 

Trisha gave Tina a gift of the computer that was given to them the first day for her backpack.

On Wednesday Tina met the mail kid Alon Livingston.

Trisha had found Law Enforcement and after her first shift was promoted to Cadet.

Tina enjoyed gazing at the stars and earning Logic skills.

On Thursday Trisha was promoted first via chance card to Patrol Officer and then (after she'd walked back to work for a double shift) to Desk Sergeant. Trent met Christian Love.

On Friday while Trent had a houseful of guests Tina came home celebrating her A+. 

Their evening was spent outside skilling. Trisha (today promoted to Vice Squad) finished a painting, Tina learnt mechanical from building blocks and while I don't plan to add to the family Knowledge Sim Trent would not object to being abducted if it happened. It didn't. :)

On Saturday Trent and Tina talked to friends while the Landlord ordered pizza for a little get together. The Traveller's only have one neighbour, Rose Dai who isn't really all that friendly.

Trisha had another chance card.... 

She chose to go Tom Cruise style through the roof and earned 2 very easy body skills.

She arrived home as a Detective but her colleague the Vampiress Contessa Celeste Goth (married to Mortimer) had to flee the sun!

Trisha instead played with her new 'toy', her career reward gun giving her easy cleaning skills.

A Detective now this Sunday morning Trisha hasn't had one day off so far this week...

Trent and Tina settle down for a morning of skilling,

but it's not long until Tina's best friend Alfie Broke comes over to play.

Trisha's hard work this week really paid off and she has earned 10K and made the rank of Lieutenant.

A little later it was Tina's Teen birthday!

Here she is this pretty blonde rolled Popularity and wishes to be just like her Mum, eventual Captain Hero!

Now she's a teen Tina can see she already has 2 bolts with Alon, I'm sure with a tweak here and there that can change to 3 but time will tell.

The party was really rocking until their grumpy neighbour Rose came by to complain about the noise, not that she needed to as the Police arrived about the same time to break up the party.

Officer Ramin was very thorough and rounded up each and every guest until they'd all gone. Tina was exhausted by this point (her parents were already in bed) and thus ends the story of their week.

Summary-

I've not played the Traveller's to any extent before and really enjoyed their week. I am baffled as to Trent's headwear, hmm, is it a hat and I hadn't noticed?

One thing I didn't realise about this family is that they have every single piece of Jewellery (for the adults and Tina (as a child). Handy. :)

My plan is to take them on vacation again next time, but first I may move them to a new house, the apartment is very small.
