Ottomas Family

Here are the Ottomas family moving into Riverblossom Hills.

They had enough funds to sparsely furnish the house; downstairs a lounge, kitchen and a bedroom for grandma Dora with a small bathroom and a double bed & cot for Peter, Samantha and toddler Tommy.

Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, for now just one bathroom is furnished and there are two beds, one for Sharla and one for David.

Pregnant Samantha walked straight to work in the Education Field, it is her wish to be an Education Minister while students David and Sharla go straight to school.
Peter had a wish to paint and Grandma Dora played with Tommy.

The welcome wagon of Cyd Roseland, Nathan Gavigan and Chester Gieke (not pictured) were greeted by Peter just as he left for work and were still here when Samantha finished work and Sharla school. She so desperately wanted someone to cheer for her A+!

A little later Dora and David came home from their respective Elder/Teen jobs and David looked most bemused at his Grandma celebrating, she was certainly happy to be home!

David is a decent older brother and helped Sharla with her homework. Peter was busy with the toddler and exhausted Samantha had been in bed for some time.

On Tuesday morning after Peter had helped David with his assignment Peter earned a skill, Dora did a dance, Sharla played on the pc and David talked to a friend.

Peter was at the level of Sports Columnist in the Journalism field but his hearts desire was to master the Culinary career and so he found himself that job on Tuesday where he started as a Drive Through Clerk for his first shift.

In the very early hours of Wednesday morning Samantha went into labour.

She had twin girls! Molly & Polly. :D

The day was clearly so hectic few pictures were taken but David reached the top of his teen career and Samantha became a High School Teacher (yep- she hired a nanny and went straight back to work- hello career reward bookcase!)

Tommy also had his birthday! The twins cots are in Dora's old bedroom and her bed has been moved upstairs to Sharla's room. Tommy will share a room with David.

Thursday was a Snow Day! Sharla invited her good friend Jane Mace over for a snowball fight.

Even though they came indoors Jane never warmed up much but she seems happy. :D

Tommy too stayed outside too long but soon warmed up against the cosy fire.

Dora made her famous soup which soon hit the spot for everyone.

The twins were helped into Toddlerhood by Samantha and Dora. They have unusual features and I can't quite tell which parent they get them from or if in fact they get their features from their Grandma. :)

David finally got an A+ on Friday and was an overachiever. He hasn't rolled a wish for college yet and wants to be a Rock God so maybe higher education isn't really on his mind.

Samantha is doing well in her career and has avoided receiving chance cards so far! She is a University Guest Lecturer by the end of Friday.

Friday is also Sharla's birthday!

She rolled Pleasure and like her brother David (who is a Popularity Sim) wishes to be a Rock God(ess).

Sharla chose to grow up her freezing friend Jane Mace! Poor Jane is still grey but the plan is to put them both in college and hopefully she'll get some colour back. :D

Peter's promotions have not come easily or quickly but he is a Fast Food Shift Manager and he is best friends with most of his kids, his wife and his Mother!

On Saturday Dora took the kids Downtown to the Cold Issue Clothing company where David met and talked to Sandra Roth.

Sharla was the only one who wanted new clothes and she came home looking very different and stylish. Maybe not winter ready but hey, teenagers! :D

There was drama in the kitchen when David tried to make dinner for the family.

Luckily Samantha kept her cool (and they had a fire alarm) so David was saved from the fire.

As if there hadn't been enough Drama for the day Dora's time was up, Samantha was able to get outside just in time to see her mother-in-law pick up her suitcase and Mojito. Aww bye Dora.

All family members got inheritance from Dora, even the toddlers.

On Sunday the kids were all up early to make the most of their Mum's super skilling bookcase.

Peter (who is now a Host) made best friends with Molly.

Even though she got the Hula girls Dora wasn't in Platinum when she died and so Samantha made a pretty area of remembrance right where Dora's tomb lay out the front of the house.

Sunday evening is party time for the twins and for David!

First to grow up were Polly & Molly.

Then everyone gathered for David's turn.

Peter came home from work just in time to see his son become an adult to finish this rather busy week here at the Ottomas household!

Summary-

This was actually a pretty fun week, poor Samantha was mostly exhausted but I sent her to work for the funds. :D
David never wished for college at all and as he was so close to adulthood it made sense to grow him up where I'm sure next round he may wish to move out.
Peter managed some back to back promotions and finished the week as a Prep Cook (hello Cooking career reward!).
Dora was a very helpful Grandma besides doing her Elder job she mostly took care of the babies and served food, a lot. :D
See you next round! :)

  1. I really like the house you gave the family, much better than what they got in my game 😊
Molly and Polly’s facial features look exactly how I remember the Ottomas twins from my former game(s), they may never win a beauty contest but who wants that anyway. Sharla looks really stylish in her new outfit, and somehow it suits David not to wish for college.
I like the little remembrance area for Dora.

    Off to Yorkshire tomorrow morning!

    1. You are quite right, it is a unique look that stands out and who cares anyway? I've never experimented with the sliders much in CAS but maybe one day, :D

The house looks big from the outside but it doesn't feel that spacious inside, plenty of scope for expansion though. ;)

Have a great week! It's a decent forecast down here in the south west so hopefully you'll get the same, can't wait to read all about it. :)
