Sam Thomas

 

Sam Thomas has just graduated and joined Jimmy Phoenix, her 3 bolt love at his little home in Strangetown.

In the lots & houses bin it is called BV home, and isn't it tiny?! Time to have a little renovation, Sam & Jimmy can afford it...

I added an upstairs area and used the goodies from their full-from-college-funds backpacks to either furnish or sell to buy other bits and pieces.

I kept their single college beds for now but may sell them at a later date and I bought one decent double bed too.

Their lifetimes wishes are for Sam to have 20 best friends and for Jimmy to be Captain Hero. Neither finds a job today but they spend the time together and someone rolls a wish for engagement. Granted!

You may remember Sam & Jimmy shared a dorm with Erik Swain here who had fallen in love with Sam first. Much as she liked Erik she couldn't deny her and Jimmy a chance to live their best 3 bolt life. So today the newspaper was stolen by Erik.

Sharlene (whose first love had been Jimmy) was also mad as she'd caught the new couple embracing in college (ok she walked into Jimmy's bedroom and found them in bed together) and so the trash was also kicked over. Day 1. :D

The welcome wagon arrived comprising of General Buzz and the Stacks family which gave some reprieve and soon everyone was on their way.

Jimmy had found a map whilst digging for treasure and he and Sam couldn't wait to get to Twikki Island to explore, they stayed in this fairly cheap place called the Blossom Wood hotel.

The first thing they did was find the x-marks-the-spot on the treasure map to a secret location where Sam was given a voodoo doll after the Witch Doctor had taught her and Jimmy to Hula.

Sam tried the voodoo doll out on the housekeeper to great effect, she had an instant friend.

There were lots of other guests in the hotel to befriend and talk to.

The next morning Sam & Jimmy went to South Beach to explore the pirate ship and get a tan.

They ended up with good tans and got one of the locals to take a snapshot.

Then on the spur of the moment got one of the locals to officiate their wedding on the beach. In order to decide whose surname the couple should take I flipped a coin and heads won (which was Phoenix) and so the surname Thomas has died out already. :)

They celebrated with Pineapple Surprise!

The rest of the trip, now honeymoon, was spent relaxing,

Going on trips,

and getting to know each other better.

On their last day as they waited for their ride home Jessie Miguel struck his mother Tara! Mean Sim.

Sam stepped in and made a best friend of Tara with her voodoo doll and in doing so distracted Miguel.

Almost the instant they arrived home they were invited Downtown by one of their numerous friends and it was a nice big group of people arriving at the Crypt O'Nightclub.

An enjoyable night was had by all and even more contacts made although Sam tried to voodoo Bella but that backfired which just dropped Sam's moods down. Thankfully she befriended Bella all on her own after that.

They tried for a baby that night (A wish Jimmy has had locked in for a while) but no jingles were heard.

On Tuesday Sam put her degree to good use and got a job in the Natural Science field, she will start as a Scatmaster while Jimmy didn't find Law Enforcement so took Adventurer for now. They both came home with promotions.

On Wednesday Jimmy found the Law Enforcement career and will start as a Swat Team Leader owing to his advanced degree.

That already gave him the career reward so he set about earning more Cleaning skills.

Sam got promoted to Rogue Botanist and was rewarded with this Cow Plant.

After earning another body skill Sam made some phone calls to friends and before long had fulfilled her lifetime wish. Permanent Platinum forever.

Jimmy was promoted to Police Chief and bought a friend Jason Lewis home.

Sam had Thursday off so went to H&M in Strangetown to meet some new neighbours.

She used her Voodoo doll to befriend Lola Singles and talked to Erik and apologised so hopefully he will stop stealing her newspaper every day now.

Sam is craving Mac n Cheese.

Today Police Chief Phoenix bought home Matthew Howe. Jimmy still needs body skills for promotion to the top but he is a bit lazy and is too busy talking when he gets home!

Sam is feeling queasy.

The next day she is promoted to Animal Linguist.

Showing her now pregnant self on Saturday Sam used the voodoo doll once again to make a best friend in Simon King.

Jimmy came home Saturday with Crystal Curious and he also greeted Jenny Smith walking by but didn't immediately notice that the cowplant needed feeding...

Jenny went straight over and tried to grab the cake no matter how Jimmy tried to distract her...

Jenny slapped the cowplant and walked away.... Jimmy immediately fed the plant... whew. :)

On Sunday Jimmy finished off his body skills after a long yoga session.

He threw a house party for some old and new friends.

The party was rockin' and everyone went home just before dark.

In the very early hours of Monday morning they added to their family!

Jimmy greeted his little daughter, they named her Blossom and we will see more of her next round.

Summary-

A fun round for Sam & Jimmy, I wasn't sure what to do about the surnames so I thought a coin was the fairest option!

I can't believe Jenny walked away from the cowplant, I mean I'm very glad obviously... I wonder what makes some Sims get eaten and some not....?

Lots of friends in this house, at close around 2am Monday they had a household count of 44!

I'll not have to wait an entire round to come back as I'll be here when we get to P on the rotation where maybe Jimmy will become Captain Hero. :)

Stella Terrano- Junior year

 

We're back in Veronaville's University La Fiesta Tech for the turn of Stella Terrano.

Stella is a Knowledge Sim, she is neat, nice and active, has a weakness for cookies and is serious and painfully shy, perhaps that's why her LTW is to be a top Entertainer, She is braving her fears.

Stella had already maxed her Logic skill and was a Physics major but she has changed to Literature to suit her lifetime wish.

Stella shares a dorm with 5 others who are also in their Junior Year, Klara Vonderstein and Almeric Davis are currently writing their term papers (this Uni is set to Spring and Summer only so no boost of Autumn to help). Klara got the 

'blue screen of death for a moment there'. :D

There's Almeric's twin brother Aldric (younger by a few minutes!) just making his 10th best friend,

Blossom Moonbeam is here too, she and her Professor are very friendly on a strictly professional level,

and finally William Williamson who got quite a shock coming out of the bathroom this morning to find the resident Streaker dancing in front of him.

Stella took the gang to Mirage shopping centre on campus to get some electronics and check out who's around. She found Don Straight quite attractive, 2 bolts, but she already has 2 bolts for at least 4 other guys around Campus so she's holding out for the elusive 3.

As the gang arrived home poor Stella got struck by lightning... 

Naturally her needs bottomed out and she was so embarrassed by her 'accident'.

Klara likes to cook when the dorm cook isn't around,

Stella was still sad the next night even when she caught her favourite fireflies...

But releasing them back into the darkness finally put a smile on her face again.

Writing her diary the next morning Stella had forgotten all about the incident and happily wrote her dreams down.

Almeric got himself 10 best friends.

Everyone has been studying hard with term papers so they needed a boost of fun and red hands seems to work the fastest. 

Funnily enough even though it's a skill the cooking channel gives fun too. :)

of course there is still the usual llama drama when the opposing mascots fight... the cow mascot never wins, :)

The first semester is over and everyone got on the Dean's list. 

The next morning assignments are done and skills are to be had to pass the year but it's good to see everyone in the room,

Stella went off on her own for a while to Veronaville where she scoped and found Jonathan (in grey) attractive but Ryan Wheeler (in the check pants/brown blazer outfit) more attractive!

This was their first interaction, Ryan and Stella have 3 bolts!

Back at the dorm Klara is distracting the dorm cook,

So that William can make his famous spaghetti... it's all he wants to eat but the dorm cook rarely makes it.

Blossom and her Professor are best friends and it doesn't hurt her grade bar either,

She also gained a Silver Gardening badge from toiling in the soil. :)

Another term paper finished for Aldric, he and Stella are the only two who roll the wish to complete their term paper, but I've had all of them do it (most of them influence a 'guest' and join in toward the end on another pc to gain a double boost... funnily enough Blossom influenced her Professor and he did most of the work on hers!).

Meanwhile Stella got her gladrags on and went for a date to Londoste with Ryan.  Strangely as her taxi was arriving at the dorm she got a message from Ryan asking why she stood him up! He was there at the lot when she arrived though and so she asked him on an outing instead as he kept refusing her offer of another date,

still they shared a lovely meal even though Ryan didn't fancy a bite of Stella's prawns,

but he did fancy a first kiss,

and he stopped by in the middle of the night to leave a gift for Stella.

The next day it was time to run for the final exams! Stella, Klara and Almeric all sprint like crazy while Blossom, Aldric and William just stroll off the lot,

and here they are now Seniors having all got on the Dean's list again. 

Summary,

A good round at this dorm, I've always liked Stella but all the Sims are fun in their own way. 

It was harder work not having Autumn but a nice challenge anyway and I'm glad Stella has found her special someone. I'll be back here again for Klara's turn before too long to see them through to Graduation.
