Baldwin Family

 Welcome to the Baldwin family of Belladonna Cove.

Isabel and Benjamin live in an apartment with their children Sofia and Marcus.  Isabel's famous Uncle Carlos has popped in for dinner.

Isabel currently works in admin in an office block but really wants to make it to the top of the Law Enforcement field... she secretly craves the fame her Uncle Carlos enjoys but would rather do it saving lives.

Benjamin is a Scholar, he loves all things Scientific but also enjoys his family.

As his work shifts are erratic he gets to spend lots of time with his toddler son, helping him take his first steps.

Isabel too enjoys spending time reading stories with Marcus.

Benjamin and Isabel head over to meet their new neighbours... the Gavigan family.

Isabel found her job in Law Enforcement and headed off on Patrol Duty.

Sofia was awoken in the very early hours by her noisy neighbours.

She got up and ready for school before sitting and playing with her brother.

As Isabel is on the night shift she got a big want of the day fulfilled by potty training Marcus.

Then it's a few hours of skilling for her and her husband.

Sofia came home with an A+.

As a treat for being a star student her Mother allowed her to get the pet she'd been hankering after.

But Uncle Carlos is here again!

Ah it's little Marcus' birthday.

He grows up surrounded by family.

Isabel got up a little late as she was sleeping for her night shift but woke in time to make her son a lovely cake.

Uncle Carlos enjoys spending time with his family as he never had kids of his own.

The party was a great success.

I'm not sure if it was seeing their youngest son grow up but both Benjamin and Isabel had a want for a baby! They did try, but no baby sounds.

Benjamin took a break from study to meet his new mailman. He needs more friends for his job.

The kids come home from school. So far neither parent has wished to get Marcus in private school so for now he can stay at State school.

Marcus did get his one locked wish of the day when he made a new friend.

Uncle Carlos is here! Today is Sofia's birthday.

She grows up well and the dice rolls.... PLEASURE... a LTW to have 50 1st Dates!

Her party went on quite late and as it's a school night she was sleeping by the time it ended.

Isabel came home to a neighbour complaining about the noise...

and the next morning Sofia had the same complaint from Nathan Gavigan... she wouldn't have minded so much but it wasn't even her making the noise!

Luckily her Dad smoothed things over with his good friend Nathan.

A nicer end to the school day... Sofia is heading out to a community lot straight from school.

Little Marcus is overjoyed at his first A+.

Sofia heads to a clothing shop where she tries to befriend the clerk...

Then to a coffee shop to meet some more kids' her age... she's thinking ahead for those 50 1st dates!

She found the Statue very interesting...

Until he made her jump out of her skin!

Back at home she saw Isabel come home with a promotion to Vice Squad.

Isabel hardly gets time to breathe and she's back working on her body skill.

Sofia shows off her new outfit and hairstyle.

She cooks up breakfast while Benjamin and Marcus are skilling up.

As the week draws to a close Isabel spent a little girl time with Mary Gavigan next door.

Sofia asked Kerie Long out on a first date.

It was a brief first date and Sofia left Kerie watching tv with her Mum while Uncle Carlos chatted with Marcus.

Benjamin always has time to chat with his postie friend.

The landlady did some repair jobs around the apartment on Sunday whilst Marcus asked his Dad that all important question... "Dad... where do babies come from?..."

On Sunday night Sofia snuck out with her friend Kerie...

oh dear...

Busted! Thankfully everyone else was asleep and for some reason the Officer didn't wake up her parents, but did give Sofia a stern telling off.

So no harm done!  A lovely family shot to finish the week here at The Baldwin's!

I'm not a fan of apartments mainly because of routing issues but this one seems pretty good and I enjoyed the week here. 

Lots of skilling and friend making... this is a very sociable family. Uncle Carlos walked by almost every day too so hardly needed inviting over.

Isabel stills shows a wish for a baby but so far no jingle bells... :)

Aspir Family

Welcome to The Aspir Family!  The first family on the alphabetical list of Sims2.

They live on this large lot where the house is separated into two parts- one for Victor, his wife Elizabeth and their toddler daughter Pauline, and the other for Victor's dad, Luis.

Victor wants desperately to have more children though his wife Elizabeth is more reluctant...she is happy working her way through a career in Business.

The neighbours' come for a visit and Luis & Victor entertain The Traveller's and Herb Goodie over lunch.

Victor works the night shift at the hospital so has plenty of time to spend with his young Daughter.

Elizabeth comes home with a promotion and as she's in such a good mood Victor asks her on a date night...

Victor is busy trying on new clothes when Elizabeth sneaks in to the cubicle...

and the rest... as they say... is history.  :D

Luis is the oldest Sim I've come across in this game, he is 87 days old and decides it's time to get a bit fitter.

He also found a lamp up in his loft space and decides to make a wish to 'cheat death'.

Meanwhile Victor teaches young Pauline how to walk.

Luis loves all things mechanical and as there was an old banger on his driveway he started on getting it into some sort of working order.

Elizabeth isn't very domesticated but she enjoys bathtime with Pauline.

Grandpa Luis is always there as a babysitter when the adults are at work.

and today is there to see his beloved Grandchild grow into a child.

The old Toddler nursery gets a makeover

into a fun bedroom for Pauline.

Later Elizabeth is feeling very queasy...

"Do you know Pa, I think you might get that next Grandchild you've been hankering over quite soon!"

Pauline wants to make a friend but doesn't have a lot in common with the newspaper delivery person.

After her first day of school, and a new haircut, she gets help from Victor with her homework.

Victor heads off to the night shift at the hospital. 

and Grandpa Luis let Pauline stay up a little later than usual to watch his favourite cooking show.

Over a late supper Elizabeth shows her pregnancy.

Her best friend Hannah Bell is the first to be told.

Victor meanwhile enjoys a bit of stargazing in the evenings but so far his feet have stayed firmly on the ground.

                      After school the next day Pauline made a new friend.

Soon enough Elizabeth goes into labour...

Twins!!  Elizabeth gives Victor not one new son but two! They are called Rafael and Alejandro.

Luis tells his son that it's never too early to be thinking ahead for Education.

Meanwhile Elizabeth is happy that her Maternity leave is over and she can get back to work!

After work Elizabeth took her Father-in-Law's advice and invited the Headmaster of the local private school over where a very successful visit was had and he was happy to have Pauline begin at his school on Monday.

Luis maxed out his Mechanical skill on Saturday after a long and laborious week working on the car.

Into the night he started spray painting to add the finishing touches.

The end of the week came about very quickly with a day of chatting, skilling and ending with Luis helping his Grandsons grow up! 

While Victor teaches Rafael to talk young Pauline sits with her other brother Alejandro and befriends him while he skills up.

Elizabeth got back to working on her Silver Sewing Badge...she managed to gain a Bronze this week.

and finally... Luis finished the car! What will he do with it? He is now 93 days old and may be a tad too old to drive.. will he gift it to someone? We'll have to wait and see.

That ends the week at the Aspir Family. A most enjoyable week.

My style of play this time is to lock one 'big' wish each day and fulfill that... hence why Elizabeth had public woohoo... Victor got his baby, Pauline a friend and Luis got to wish to 'Cheat Death' among other wants.

I will also go to one Community lot each time, have family over on Sundays where possible. (Natasha Una is Luis' cousin and while they spoke on the 'phone a lot they never got together this week as life was hectic with the twins).

Also Sims will retire at 70 and everything else I will make up as I go along. :D
