Rutherford Family

 

At 340 Audrey Avenue upon the hill in Belladonna Cove is the Rutherford House.

Here is Geoff Rutherford, a rich and rather spoilt Sim whose family money gave him this lovely home with lots of disposable cash.

Geoff is a Romance Sim with a lifetime wish to be a Celebrity Chef and I think it's time he started to earn his own way in life so he found the Culinary career but will not start until tomorrow.

Geoff has a housemate, his old buddy Connor Weir.

Connor is a Fortune Sim who wishes to have 6 Grandchildren! Connor has worked his way from nothing and can never understand his friends' lazy attitude to life but then he's never had Geoff's fortune either. Connor is in the Business career as a Junior Executive and left for work immediately.

Geoff then left for the Center Drip Coffee House for his morning coffee and scoped the room to see if anyone took his fancy. No big bolts of attraction today.

When he went outside to watch the human statue a different bolt entirely hit Geoff!  His needs totally bottomed out and he rushed inside to the restroom.

Needing food he ran to the diner where his favourite spaghetti meal (with salad :D) was spilled all over him by the clumsy waitress.

She brought him a Lobster dinner to make up for it, which you'd think would be a freebie but no, Geoff still had to pay for it (and he really wanted spaghetti!).

Geoff got his fun and social up with a game of pool which shocked even him when he won.

As he was leaving he saw the local vampire and was curious to know what he would order... Cake? really?!

Although it had already got dark during his outing of course time stood still at home so Geoff went out to meet the new neighbours before saying goodbye and going upstairs for a nap.

Connor came home from work, no promotion but he was happy to have earned some money.

Geoff got the phone call a little later for an outing and accepted on his and Connor's behalf where they went to Londoste for a change,

It was a nice evening and Geoff finally got to enjoy his favourite Spaghetti at the end of what seemed like a very long Monday!

On Tuesday before work Geoff met Jill Fleig walking by.

She offered to set Geoff up on a blind date and wow did he luck out with this Masseuse called Lydia Dai, she & Geoff have 3 bolts!

Of course not everything in life is guaranteed and a bad decision on his first shift got Geoff fired.

Connor came home again with no promotion but felt if he was going to have 6 Grandchildren he should get started on finding a partner. The gypsy gave him this lady to start but there was no attraction and she left fairly quickly.

His second date was called Theresa and they had a much nicer time.

In the early hours of Wednesday Geoff gave Connor a few gifts from the house,

and Connor moved out to 315 Bella Park Road, down the bottom of the hill. 

Connor deserves his own story so we shall see him later in the round.

With Connor gone Geoff decided to hire a Butler to look after the house and garden (and him)!

He'd found Culinary again and went to work.

Afterwards he and Lydia enjoyed their first proper date, this time at Bernard's Botanical Dining.

It ended rather dreamily. :)

Geoff can see the neighbourhood statue of Bella from his upstairs bathroom this Thursday morning,

and even closer when he gets his mail.

 Geoff is now a Fast Food Manager and is working on some skills for promotion.

He enjoyed an outing with a work colleague and friends to the Lucky Shack for Cards and Drinking on Friday. :)

On Saturday Geoff got a promotion to Waiter and his colleague Bill insisted on him having higher wages for his hard work, he then walked straight off the lot for another shift.

He got promoted to Prep Cook and brought Meadow Pederson home, but by this time was exhausted so said goodbye and went for a nap.

On Sunday he did this...

Lydia said yes!

Wasting no time (and because at the time he didn't have a fear of it) they got married right there on the balcony and Lydia became Mrs Rutherford.

She is a fellow Romance sim with a wish to Woohoo 20 sims... hmm, probably not but who knows?

After the wedding a wish for Geoff was granted as he wanted to visit the Far East.

They had fun in the sauna,

and the clothing booth...

"How did this happen?!" Geoff asks. :D

oh Geoff looks like your bachelor days are truly over anyway. 

The Lucky Shrine may give out coins but it's painful!

It was a very tranquil vacation and they made lots of new friends.

They both got new looks and Lydia spent lots of Geoff's money on clothes, jewellery and souvenirs.

A neat freak Romance sim? how rare, although Lydia probably didn't realise that there was a Housekeeper.

They both learned to teleport and this is them in the 'landing' position heading out to the front gate for the taxi which will take them home.

Back at home and it's snowing, Winter is here in Belladonna.

Even 'Bella' the statue has some frosting. :)

Lydia wanted a job and Oceanography was available so she took it but starts tomorrow, or possibly a year from now :D 

She has great skills, 7 Cooking, 7 Creativity, 6 Mechanical, 4 Body, 2 Charisma and 1 Logic.

Geoff is now an Executive Chef thanks to his connections, skills, friends and some luck on the chance cards.

While he hasn't see her this week Geoff has spoken to his sister Marissa and they are best friends.

Summary-

Wow, quite a busy week for Geoff. I decided to move Connor out fairly quickly so he can start his own story.

It seemed too good an opportunity to miss to have Geoff & Lydia get together given their attraction, but time will tell how that works out and if the patter of tiny feet appear next time (they will!).
