Picaso Family

 

Here we are on moving day for Matthew and Jessica Picaso.

-to recap-

Jess is a Family Sim who wants to reach her Golden Anniversary.

 Matthew has 3 bolts for Alexandra O'Mackey and after their fling she is pregnant with his child. He wants to be a Hall of Famer eventually which suits his Popularity personality.

Although the Picaso's are newlywed they only have 1 bolt of attraction for each other.

This is a premade I found in the lots & houses bin, I emptied it of it's minimal furnishings and changed the decor a little and they could just afford it!

It's pretty spacious but they'll need serious funds to buy stuff.

Luckily they are both leaving for work in the Military career. 

No promotion today but they have their wages. Matthew bought Aaron Lewis home from work and the welcome wagon is still here so they can make some friends. 

A townie called Waylon Menon gave Matthew a discounted rate on furniture and he was able to buy a couple of things for the living room.

Jess is cleaning up the mess a very sloppy Matthew left that morning from the cheap shower and toilet.

Pizza is the first meal of Monday.

They sat mostly in silence whilst eating.

Thinking that her dream of starting a family might happen Jess was very disappointed when she went to bed to find Matthew already snoring.

On Tuesday a desk was purchased with Jessica's promotion to Drill Instructor, she worked on her next body skill while Matthew (who had no promotion but earned a body skill from a chance card) sat on the new computer for hours talking to someone.

Jess took them to Belle's Boutique as she really wanted some magazines to enhance their interests.

It was a shock to see Alexandra O'Mackey there but she was just leaving as they arrived and so no drama occurred :D

A basic kitchen was purchased with the rest of the promotion money and they sat down to a Mac n Cheese dinner.

On Wednesday there was heavy snow overnight.

Jess ate her breakfast in silence whilst Matthew once again was on the pc talking to someone. 

Matthew had the day off so Jess left for work.

How come only Schools get 'Snow Day'?!

Matthew spent his day off talking to neighbours (here Morty Roth) and learning some skills, he even played with a stray cat who came by.

Jess bought their mutual friend Aaron Lewis home with her and spent ages telling him how frosty her husband is with her.

Another lonesome breakfast while Matthew hits the chatroom.

later on Friday Matthew got promoted to Drill Instructor too while Jess earned her 5K.

On Saturday Jess got promoted to Junior Officer and bought home her new career reward which she had fun on whilst waiting for their mutual friend Aaron to come over and visit.

When Matthew tried out the career reward Jess and Aaron got really friendly.

and even got some pink hearts... they have 2 bolts which I could easily make 3.

Jess figured what the heck and invited Aaron up for some wardrobe woohoo thinking Matthew was too preoccupied to notice...

But oops.. of course he wasn't that distracted. 

Jessica got a slap and Aaron lost his friendship status with Matthew.

Then Matthew declared that they should get an annulment.

He yelled at her to get out!

So she left the lot. :(

Matthew was sad that Jess cheated on him, but I think it's fair to say he wasn't that bothered- he'd hardly spoken to her all week.

So with his big empty house and a pregnant lover he decided to do the right thing and asked Alexandra to move in with him, she said Yes. :)

Her second 'baby bump' came in as she looked around the spartan living area- she had bought plenty of funds with her and knew she could make this house into a lovely home.

and so she made a great start, Windows! A fitted Kitchen and a separated living area made the space look so much nicer.

Matthew wondered why she'd made so much food...

For their engagement party of course! 

Matthew was pleased to meet Jules O'Mackey though I'm not sure she was that fussed about meeting her Mum's new lover.

The Engagement party turned into a wedding party. 

and a great time was had by all the guests.

There was one weird moment when Jess just walked right in and sat on the sofa staring at Matthew but she soon started talking to other guests.

More than anything Alexandra was very happy to have made peace and friends with her Daughter Jules again.

and everyone left the happy newlyweds to their 'honeymoon' after a Rockin' party.

Summary-

Again with this week I let it play out and Matthew and Jess really had no interest in each other. It was my plan to have Jess stay in this house but as she was the one who cheated only Matthew got the 'break up' interaction and it worked out well for Alexandra.  I wanted her to have Matthew's name before the baby came along to save any 'O'Mackey' confusion in the future. 

Jess moved out on Saturday so I won't play her again until her turn on the list next round as she practically had a full week and until that time who knows? she may meet someone she can eventually celebrate a Golden Anniversary with!
