Robin Wheeler- Sophomore Year

 

We're back in Riverblossom Hills at La Fiesta Tech to continue the lives of Sophomores Robin Wheeler and Jules O'Mackey.

Both girls started Uni life in a dorm with Jacob Martin and William Parmeley but have moved to the Sorority House. (The former residents (Monica, Jessie, Sarah and DJ) met a swift death as I had no wish to replay them when I am already playing their versions in Veronaville).

There were plenty of household funds so a little makeover was in order. This time I put a downstairs bathroom opposite the kitchen, changed some walls/floors and furniture colours. Upstairs I made 4 bedrooms and split the large bathroom into two.

Robin was originally Riverblossom Hills' paperkid, she always liked Jules and they were the best of friends so it was fitting they went to Uni together, they are currently in love but who knows what will happen in the future.

Robin and Jules are Popularity Sims who wish to be Media Magnates one day.

Jules used one of the desks to work on her assignment.

Every student who walked by is greeted but it's very annoying that they are so obsessed with studying when they visit a house! 

Jules started to talk to the 'suited' students who came by.

Dinner is always a busy affair, it's rare to see just one extra student here.

The girls worked out together to reach Robin's goal of getting super fit.

It still amuses me when one student walks in on another in the shower purely for the expression on their face (and the scream). :D

Jules took the opportunity to recruit a pledge to clean, cook and do college work for both she and Robin.

Robin maxed her body skill.

Then greeted her former dorm mates, Jacob, William and Sandra (Roth) as well as Zoe Zimmerman.

Robin made best friends with Sandra Roth who was looking a bit cold.

Jules and her former boyfriend Jacob had a good chat with Jasmine Rai.

Guest Sandra made best friends with her dorm mate William and she'd warmed back up.

oh no here comes the killjoy coach...

Jules figured out the best way to distract her is to talk to her!

Phoebe finally spent enough time pledging to join the Sorority and said yes when Jules asked her.

She raided the house wardrobe for a new look. 

Phoebe Deppiesse is a Romance Sim who wishes to woohoo 20 Sims. She is added to the playable list.

Robin recruited a new pledge, she may not join this year but it doesn't hurt to have someone new to get to do lots of jobs for free. :D

They went to the local store to get clothes, electronics and meet some new students.

Jules got whisked to the LFT Secret Society.

oops the cowplant spawned a cake and a fellow SS member took it.

He died of course.

Jules felt bad and so used the Paranormal phone to call the grim reaper. She paid good money to have her fellow SS member brought back to life.

Of course I forgot that he is added to the household and so was waiting at the mailbox when Jules returned to the Sorority.

As he's a guy he's not welcome in this all girls house so I moved him to a dorm where he will join the playable list... he's Dorian Benson and we will see him next round.

Meanwhile Jules finished her Sophomore Year top of the class.

Summary-

This was a quick year as I'd already played most of their first semester at the dorm before they moved here.

It's amazing the things you forget such as adding a revived Sim to your household! 

I do find it confusing when existing Sims are 'doubled' such as Zoe Zimmerman & Jasmine Rai (where I'm playing them in Veronaville) but I'm not killing them all off unless I find it necessary.

Connor Weir

 

In Belladonna Cove Connor Weir moved out of the large house on the hill where he rented a room from his friend Geoff Rutherford in order to concentrate on his own life and lifetime wish to have 6 Grandchildren some day.

315 Bella Park Road is a small home, you can see Connor playing in the bathtub (which I had to then sell as he couldn't get to the shower). His furniture was donated from his friend Geoff. :)

I'm not a fan of how Maxis did this, they shoved something upstairs, no walls which means it's considered 'outdoors' and there's no room to do/place anything. When Connor has more funds it will be renovated.

On this Monday morning Connor is leaving for his job in Business as a Junior Executive.

Of course he missed the welcome wagon but he did come home promoted to Executive.

Later that night he got a call from his friend Isabel Baldwin for a get together Downtown.

They enjoyed some pool and dancing,

and it was a good job Connor was promoted as he had to pay the dining bill.

On Tuesday morning Connor rang for a pizza before work, it should last him a few meals but of course his real motivation was to see if he could find a 3 bolt love, he did not.

Connor got a chance card which gave him 2 logic & 2 creativity skills and after work was promoted to Vice President helping him earn 10K.

He went on a date with Allyn Thompson the Garden Club lady but they had no attraction and so he ended the date after it got to 'good' status.

On Wednesday Connor was promoted to President and went on a date with Theresa Tse who he'd had a blind date with when he lived at Geoff's. There is two bolts of attraction here but Theresa pushed him away went he went in for a smooch.

Connor treated himself to a telescope hoping he might get a start on that LTW himself while he finds the perfect partner. His feet stayed firmly on the ground but he gained a logic skill.

On Thursday another company tried to poach Connor but he decided to stay loyal to his firm which gave him a 5K bonus and promotion to CEO. He's now earned 25K.

Friday morning rolled around and Connor called up Ramir Patel before work, hmm does he find Ramir attractive or does he just wish that he was that handsome? ;)

After work Connor reached the top of the Business career. He has 34K in his bank account now so maybe one day he'll be back up on the hill by his old buddy Geoff.

Connor brought a colleague home who immediately set him up on a blind date with the Diva but again there was little attraction and Connor ended the date swiftly.

Keen as he is to find a 3 bolt love Connor treated himself to a holiday and left in the early hours of Saturday.

He arrived at the Flaming Dragon Hotel in Takemizu Village.

He enjoyed a game of Mahjong with the locals, which he won.

He got lucky at the Lucky Shrine and won some money.

Not so lucky after a trip when his moods really bottomed out. At least his plumb bob matches the decor!

A good massage helped bring his moods back up.

Connor was taught the art of teleportation.

Despite having a great friendship with the Wise Old Man the Dragon Tale was not shared with Connor but he was taught how to Tai Chi.

and despite all his efforts he did not find a 3 bolt match before his holiday was over.

Back home on Saturday he met Theresa for a date at the Centre Drip Coffee house but Allyn was there and even though they had only shared one measly date she was still mad enough to slap Connor.

Then Connor and Theresa went and fell in love while I wasn't watching.

Connor had asked Theresa back to his place and a little later he popped the question, she said YES!

On Sunday they met at St. Simius and became man and wife.

The new Mrs Weir got a faceful of cake but took it in good humour.

Theresa is a fellow Fortune Sim, she had the Creativity career reward in her backpack owing to the fact that she is a Counterfeiter in the Criminal career. She wishes to earn 100K for her LTW and added 5K to the family pot.

They had a celebratory Grilled Cheese sandwich dinner because neither of them can really cook.

and we leave them here this Sunday early evening as the snow is falling and Allyn has kicked over the trash, again! :)

Summary- A good week for Connor, he really concentrated on earning the big bucks for most of the week and I gave up looking for a 3 bolt love as he really needs to get on and have kids. Connor will be a Dad next time, ;)
