Monty- Antonio

 

We are back in Veronaville for a stretch while we visit the various Monty families. 

Today we start with Antonio and his twins Benedick and Beatrice. They moved in here to 46 Bard Boulevard.

Antonio is a Knowledge Sim who wishes to become an Education Minister. He is currently an Executive Chef in the Culinary career and will keep this job for a while as he needs the funds this good job gives him. He and his children immediately walk off the lot to work/school.

The work/school day passed uneventfully and afterwards Antonio cooked up dinner.

The two 'B's brought home the two 'K's, Benedick brought home Kiera and Beatrice brought Korey.

Antonio needed skills and friends for promotion so met any passerby that he could.

He also had to tend to his children of course and the easiest way to help them increase their much needed fun levels was to play a game of red hands with them.

He then helped them both with homework. Beatrice is playing the newly opened free pc that was kindly donated that morning.

As the Children go to bed Antonio worked on a body skill while giving a tour of his spartan home.

Upstairs isn't much better but it's functional for now.

On Tuesday before school the twins get their fun levels up by blowing bubbles.

Antonio befriended Leo Wilkie.

He's also best friends with his daughter.

Benedick took advantage of the lemonade stand to see if he could help make some funds and Dora Ottomas kindly came by as his first customer.

His Dad was actually his second (and last) customer that day but it was enough for them to become firm friends.

On Wednesday Antonio met the Postie, Celeste Rossi.

He was home to celebrate the twins first A+'s.

He whisked up a batch of crepes,

Then threw a birthday party for his children. His parents, sister and good friends the Summerdreams' attended.

Beatrice was first, she grew up well and rolled Romance... LTW... Woohoo 20 Different Sims. :D

Then it was Benedick's turn...

He rolled Pleasure and has a LTW to have 50 dream dates. :)

It was nice to have a family gathering and for Antonio to really get to know his parents.

Whilst the twins had gone to bed already Antonio made best friends with his sister,

and his friend Oberon.

Which helped give him a roof raising party score.

He searched the skies a while on his new telescope to earn a skill.

Thursday was uneventful this week but on Friday they all set off for work and school.

Beatrice brought her friend home from school while this chap kicked over the trash, not sure why.

Antonio got a chance card where he picked 'Sporks of Steel' and earned himself 20,000 Simoleons! 

Hello house extension!

The downstairs is still one large open plan room with a new cloakroom off the side but with some upgraded furnishings and decor.

Upstairs everyone has their own bedroom and Antonio has an en-suite. The teens bathroom is extended a little too.

Benedick got a teen job in the Dance career and Beatrice in Medicine.

Beatrice is doing the later shift and used the time to make a new best friend,

before cooking up a batch of spaghetti.

On Saturday everyone finally left the home lot to visit Veronaville. As Bendick's LTW is to have 50 dream dates it will be easier I think to have him just have one partner and so he can take his time looking for that perfect someone. He didn't find them today but made some new acquaintances and bought some new clothes.

Romance Sim Beatrice of course went straight in with the smooth talking and soon had Ralph Enriquez eating out of the palm of her hand.

It's a good job his kids' are friendly because Antonio just seemed to rub every single Sim up the wrong way! In the end I brought them all home before full on fighting began.

On Sunday morning Beatrice invited Ralph over for their first kiss and a much needed aspiration boost for her.

Benedick met Ginger Newson walking by and befriended her.

Antonio had to fix the pc before he could look for Education. It wasn't there of course but it's time he started working on his own LTW.

Some Yoga before work saw Beatrice become super fit.

She arrived home with a best friend and a promotion, she's an overachiever!

As darkness fell Benedick arrived home (also as an overachiever) at the same time his Grandparents and cousin Romeo visited.

They all enjoyed a spaghetti dinner and some games. Antonio made best friends with his father.

and Benedick did the same with his Grandmother whilst Romeo and Beatrice chilled out in the lounge.

Summary:-

I really enjoyed this week at Antonio's. Normally I don't have him interact with his family so much and that seemed quite remiss of me especially as historically his parents don't live that long.

Next time the Twins will most likely go to college so I can get started particularly on Beatrice's LTW!

Mole Family

 

We are back in Desiderata Valley at 153 Main Street, the residence of John Mole.

It's a nice little bungalow, albeit rather monotone in colour.

John is a Popularity Sim with a lifetime wish to become a Media Magnate. The job isn't available so he fulfils another wish by inviting someone over.

 

It's Sharon Wirth (who is in love with John and vice versa) and Natasha Una.

Not long after they arrive the welcome wagon joins them, it's Cyd Roseland, Trisha Traveller and Mary Gavigan.

Mary shows off her impressive 'flying' skills, otherwise known as a belly flop.

 :D

John made a plate of sandwiches and the neighbours have a good chat.

One thing I learned about John this first day, he is a terrible gossip!

He seems to have lots of gossip about Tara Kat,

and her many cats!

After his neighbours left John walked to the Gothier Green Lawns. 

He scoped the room and found he quite liked the Contessa Marisa Tan.

He also had a good chat with Wanda Tinker, in fact by the end of the day he'd got himself 7 friends.

The beauty of knowing a Vampire is that they can be called at any time of the night and Marisa came over in the early hours when John couldn't sleep. She likes John quite a lot.

On Tuesday John did some tasks around the house, still didn't find Journalism, but as he's already a CSI he went off to work anyway to earn some money.

John returned home with his friend Marcel Jocque and a promotion to Surveillance Operator.

He had the night off and asked Marisa on a dinner date.

They were just about to tuck into their meal when Sharon Wirth came up and got very jealous.

She gave John a big slap and shouted lots of things, none of them nice!

John tried to salvage the (now) bad date as best he could in the remaining time but it ended up as 'boring'.

Of course that meant that John would be paperless for a week at best or having his trash kicked over the yard at worst. Sometimes Sharon just came by to pout like she's doing here.

Nevertheless John continued to make new friends and after a late shift to Reconnaissance Communicator he bought himself a car to do up.

He started work on it immediately as it needed a whole new engine and lots of bodywork.

Another shift saw John promoted to Rookie Field Agent. 

As he was working evenings he got up early to work on the car.

He soon made friends with Postie Gina Patch.

By Thursday John had made his first 5K.

John did some much needed yardwork as the Autumn leaves were falling and the hedges getting overgrown.

On Friday a chance card gave John a promotion to Field Agent and a boost in funds to 10K earned.

John wanted to visit a community lot so he went to the local Gardens.

He met a townie and they sat and had a game of chess but there weren't too many new Sims on the lot that night.

Back home after more yardwork John suddenly went very cold.

Hot chocolate wasn't enough to warm his greying skintone so he sank into a hot bubble bath.

much better!

On Saturday John finally got the new engine in!

Now he just had some bodywork to sand and paint.

But he wanted to throw a party so invited all of his friends.

How funny that Wanda's outerwear is so old fashioned. :D

John ordered some pizzas and a good time was had by all.

He even felt he and Sharon were making good progress again.

Of course the Police came and broke up his roof raising party.

On Sunday morning John finished the last of the pizza for breakfast.

ah, it seems Sharon hasn't quite forgiven John! 

John asked his friend and bartender Brooke over to become his newest best friend. She stayed a while before heading home.

So it's not just Wanda with the 'old' outerwear. This time around I put the 'Castle' collection into my downloads so I'm guessing that's the reason.

hmm, isn't it Knowledge Sims that usually play with Rubik's cubes? 

John chose a simple charcoal grey with a flame design to finish his car, just in time too as Winter is here!

We leave John 'spying' on his neighbours' until next time!

Summary.

John had no luck at all finding Journalism this week. He is also unsure of his path in life regarding family, he has 1 bolt for Contessa Marisa, 2 for Sharon and 3 for bartender Brooke but still didn't wish for anyone in particular. Maybe next time when it's Spring he will.

It was still an enjoyable week at John's place.
