We're in Belladonna Cove at the home of Connor Weir. Connor moved out of his friend Geoff Rutherford's house last round as he needed to make his own way in the world. He's not on the hill anymore but maybe one day he'll get back there.
The house was very small so Connor used his promotion money to Executive to enlarge it a little.
Before everything was on the ground floor and had only a chess table upstairs in the open loft space so it's nice to have more living space downstairs.
Connor's new bedroom is upstairs and there's room for extension too.
All furniture was kindly donated by Connor's old housemate Geoff.
Connor had brought his colleague Chastity Gere home after work.
After she left he had the mandatory Monday phone call inviting him Downtown, he accepted but had the 'where were you, can't believe you stood me up' pop up before the taxi even arrived. He went anyway and had a good scope around.
He'd met Theresa Tse last round and they have 3 bolts... whatcha doing Theresa?
ohhhh that... clearly she's not as shy as last round. :D
Was it worth the Crumplebashing though? I'm sure Connor thought so. ;)
All that 'shopping' made Connor hungry for spaghetti when he got home.
On Tuesday to celebrate his promotion to Senior Manager Connor invited Theresa over on a date...he serenaded her....
A little later he proposed and she accepted.
They got married right there in their undies.
Theresa joined the house with 13K, she is a Fortune sim who is currently a Counterfeiter. Her LTW is to earn 100K.
It certainly was a Dream date. ;)
Theresa added her career reward of the lie detector machine alongside Connor's execuputter.
On Wednesday promotions for both saw Connor become a Vice President whilst Theresa is a Smuggler!
I should have mentioned that Connor wishes to have 6 grandkids some day so he and Theresa try for a baby straight after work- successfully.
With their new funds another extension is added.
Now they have a bathroom upstairs, an extra bedroom and a balcony.
Theresa made a new friend who gave her discount on any future furnishings.
As Theresa was working on a skill her baby bump appeared later on Thursday.
Connor is a President now and got to travel to work in a limo.
Theresa spent the day maxing her mechanical skill.
Connor is C.E.O. this Friday.
Theresa didn't have to work until later that night so she spent Saturday maxing Creativity. I'm hopeful she will have the baby on time to leave for work otherwise she'll be waiting a few more days before she can try again for top of career.
Sure enough at around 8pm little Wendy Weir made her appearance.
Connor was very excited to meet his new Daughter.
Theresa left for the night shift and Connor started his own. ;)
On Sunday morning Theresa's shift came to an end and she reached the top of the Criminal career. She's earned 10K so far out of her 100K.
The afternoon was spent not only seeing to Wendy's needs but catching up with friends on the 'phone.
As the week came to an end Connor persuaded Theresa to try for another baby, again successfully.
Summary-
We leave them here in the early hours of Monday. They have enough funds now for that house on the hill if I so choose to move them next time.
