Moving from Strangetown Uni to the Veronaville neighbourhood here at 28 Wise Bard Boulevard we find this little home.
It's occupants are Aldric Davis & Klara Vonderstein. They fell in love autonomously in college and moved in together after graduation.
Aldric the popularity Sim wishes to become a Rock God whilst knowledge lover Klara is interested in reaching the top of the Journalism career.
This barely furnished home has a few more goodies in it now thanks to the backpacks of the former students.
upstairs has one decent double bed, one cheaper and some good bathroom furniture.
No jobs available today so they stayed home and enjoyed an afternoon with their welcoming committee of Antonio Monty, Titania Summerdream and Christian Love.
Here they are in their chosen outfits.
Both wished for woohoo and so wish granted. ;)
The early hours of Tuesday saw Aldric wanting to talk about feelings while Klara pretended not to hear him whilst studying.
Aldric didn't find music but he did fancy his hand at Politics and they really needed some funds so he took the job.
On Wednesday they both found their career jobs, Klara started as an Internet Movie Critic and Aldric a Summer Camp Music Teacher. He came home after work with a colleague.
On Thursday after a date Aldric wanted to propose, Klara said yes!
They wasted no time and walked straight to St Simius to get married.
It was a little last minute but they managed to invite their old college buddies.
The evening and reception was full of fun, dancing and cake.
They left the lot as Mr and Mrs... Vonderstein! I flipped a coin for heads and tails and tails won for Klara. :)
Early on Friday they started digging in the garden. They both wanted a honeymoon and my decision where to send them is based on whichever local map they find first (unless there is a specific wish for a beach/eastern or mountain holiday). No map yet but Klara did find a treasure chest.
Aldric found the first map and called the shuttle.
It was for Twikkii Island. They stayed at the Double Palms Resort which suited their budget.
While Aldric checked them in, Klara checked out the pool.
Later they visited South End beach where they enjoyed a swim around the old pirate ship.
They dug in the sand and newly suntanned Aldric found a necklace...
whereas sunburnt Klara caught a crab... or rather it caught her. ;)
They enjoyed tasting local delicacies and meeting the local people.
They went on all available trips, some with better results than others. Klara lost a skill and was very upset about it.
The map Aldric found lead them to a witch doctor who asked for their help- once they'd helped him out he handed Aldric a voodoo doll.
That night Aldric and Klara tried again for a baby- they'd had no luck back at home.
The next morning Aldric is quite convinced 'they' are with child.
On the last day of their trip at the local Boardwalk Aldric tested out his voodoo doll and made an instant friend.
What wasn't instant was his desire to learn a fire dance. It took most of the day and a very large portion of the evening! Still it was worth it and afterwards they left for the hotel to pack up ready for the journey home.
She managed to go to work on Saturday and returned home with a promotion to Fact Checker.
Aldric is a Studio Musician and bought his friend Sanjay home with him- not for long as Aldric left shortly after for another shift.
He returned at 3am on Sunday as a Concert Pianist.
Klara slept in and upon waking got her second baby bump.
Later Aldric threw a party- he really wanted to get 30 best friends and Antonio Monty just became his 25th! Summer had really helped him this week but now Autumn has begun he'll have to go back to the old fashioned way (or use his voodoo doll-heh).
Aldric couldn't resist showing off his new Fire Dance and even made a few simoleons from his tip jar.
The party rocked and the tired couple went to bed.
Summary-
I know we have to wait a long time until the next Vonderstein comes into the world! It was a good week for them though, they may need a bigger place or even just a refurbishment next time. It felt like there was too much going on to worry about it this time.
