Here we are still in Veronaville but at La Fiesta Tech where Hermia has moved into the old Shifting Paradigms house- its former occupants having graduated already.
Hermia was sad to lose her Grandad just as she'd left for college but he left some extra funds for her which she spent on a few goodies for her backpack, then she made a call.
To the Greek House girls! Hermia's first wish upon enrolling at college was to join their house and so after some chatter and jokes the girls accepted Hermia.
She moved straight away to the Tri-Fruhm Sorority.
In the early hours she got to know her fellow housemates who are Allyn McCarthy and Kay Lam. Allyn is a Junior and Kay a Sophomore.
Hermia of course is a Family Sim who wishes to see 3 of her own kids graduate college one day. Allyn is also Family but wishes to reach her Golden Anniversary and Kay here is Knowledge and wishes to max all her skills- there's one. :)
Hermia chose Biology as her Major and had a visit from the campus coach, she started working out as he went around the other girls to get them to work out too.
Allyn is in Literature class- she loves to Garden and has just made some eggplant juice which gave her a free skill.
Kay is in Physics, she already got her term paper done for the semester which left her time to accept a date from Mitch who she has a crush on....here's their first kiss. :)
Allyn knuckled down and got a Gold gardening badge, her crops should all be of amazing standard now.
Hermia decided to raid the dresser....
and chose a change of style with her tee and capri pants, although her original teen outfit was of similar colours.
Hermia answered the door for a grocery delivery while Allyn was busy with her college crush Sean Lawson.
Kay threw a toga party and Hermia was the only college student not to wear a toga...
Kay & Mitch had progressed in their relationship to full on love.
as the party ended poor Romeo Monty must've over indulged and was seen throwing up in the toilet.
Hermia's first semester had gone by very fast but successfully as she celebrated an A+ and a spot on the Dean's list.
To celebrate the girls went to the campus marketplace to meet some new people, buy phones and drink coffee.
They all became 'Big Woman on Campus' while here.
A new day and a new pledge, Key asked Vamsi Pearson to start scrubbing and scribbling. :D
Here is Darren Chung (love interest to Monica Bratford), but oh no! He and Hermia have 3 bolts! I guess this shouldn't be denied... ;)
A little later Hermia was handcuffed and led outside to a waiting limousine.
She was driven to and inducted into the LFT Secret Society on Campus.
She influenced a fellow member to write her assignment while she worked on a cleaning skill,
and a creativity skill.
Back home she enjoyed the fruit of Allyn's labours by earning a cleaning skill point from Eggplant juice.
Allyn can talk her plants into Thriving so they are bright and colourful when she harvests them.
As the year drew to a close Hermia and Kay became best friends.
Vamsi just finished an assignment for one of the girls when her pledge time was revealed to be over. Hermia invited her to move in and she accepted. Vamsi is a Popularity Sim who wants to become Captain Hero and she will join the list of playables.
Hermia went into some detail about Greek House etiquette (get pledges, friends, bring free pizza home and 'steal' as many freebies as possible) before she left for her final exam.
and that's it... Freshman Year done.
Summary-
A fast year for Hermia and the girls, lots of skilling and talking, a second pledge is also ready to move in if necessary.
The question for next time (or Darren Chung's turn) will be... do Hermia and he go for it with the 3 bolt attraction?
