Newson Family

 

Here we are in Veronaville back for the second time this round at the Newson home. It's also home to the 'Goodie' family, Herbert and Faith who are caregivers to the Newson clan. Now we have reached 'N' in the alphabet though enough time has passed to continue the story.

It's breakfast time this Monday morning and Ginger has made a best friend of her youngest sister Georgia. Gabriella and Gallagher became teens last time at the end of the week.

Before school a little skilling time sees Georgia building blocks with her twin brother Garrett.

Gavin, the eldest brother enjoys his music while Gabriella chats away to the newspaper kid.

The Children are off to private school and Herbert is going to work. He is a Science Teacher at present.

I gave him and Faith 'adult' jobs as both their LTW's are career related (he- Mad Scientist and she Prestidigitator) and I figured it's more of a challenge for them anyway running the busy household and with their limited life spans to try and reach TOC, plus the income is really handy!

It's Faith's day off so she spent the day chatting to friends, cleaning the house and remembered to pay those bills just in time!

Garrett got an A+ whilst Herbert is promoted to Project Leader.

Little Georgia enjoys cooking muffins.

Gabriella bought Ralph Enriquez home from school and they have a mutual attraction.

Ginger is now an Overachiever which she got from reaching the top of her teen career and being an A+ student. She is a Family Sim who wishes to celebrate her Golden Anniversary (talk about wishing your life away!). She currently wants to go to college.

Tuesday morning sees Herbert making omelettes for everyone.

As the teens return at 1pm Faith is on her way out to work.

Herbert arrived home having earned 5K.

Gavin, a Fortune Sim with a LTW to be a Business Tycoon is getting some scholarships in the bag.

His younger brother Gallagher, a Knowledge Sim who wishes to become a World Famous Ballet Dancer one day has reached the top of his own teen career.

Here are Ginger and Gavin ready to enter their college years... they made the call on Tuesday evening and left one after the other. We'll catch up with them next. 

Back at home on Wednesday morning saw the Gypsy lady leave a lamp.

Gallagher got the memory but he's too busy listening to his mp3 player to notice.

Herbert loves Nature and is supposed to be tidying this very messy yard but he's too busy having fun kicking the leaves so a Gardener is hired instead. :)

Gabriella, our second Fortune sim is at the top of her teen career too. She is hoping to become The Law one day.

But for now she joins in the birthday celebrations for her youngest siblings!

Garrett rolls to be a Family Sim who wishes to have 3 kids graduate from college.

Whilst Georgia rolls Knowledge and wants to become an Education Minister.

They head down to H&M Veronaville and buy some new clothes, electronics and meet some new people.

On Thursday morning the teens enjoy the remnants of last nights' party for breakfast.

Georgia wishes for and is granted a stash of cash.

Garrett hits the top of his teen career. (The bonus of being in Private school is they start teen jobs at level 2).

The teens bust some moves after getting their homework done.

It's all a bit much for Garrett who falls asleep in his pork chops, well he had a busy day!

Knowledge sim Gallagher shouldn't seem so surprised that he's whisked into space, he was searching for aliens after all!

He wasn't abducted until after 4am and just made it back before the school bus arrived on Friday.

It's interesting that half the 'greeting' party are happy for him and the other half (including the paper kid) are worried.

Faith bought a workout bench to improve her body skills.

After school Gabriella and Georgia head out to their teen jobs.

They'd bought some friends home who happily chatted with Gallagher.

Poor Georgia made a bad decision at work and got fired.

She soon got her social needs back up by chatting with Amar.

Then she found another teen job.

Herbert is doing well with his career, he and Faith are 65 days old now though and at 70 I usually have my Elders retire. Will he make it to the top? Or even live long enough to get there?

Faith is now super fit and ready to embrace her next position as a Round Table Knight.

Saturday was a busy morning skilling which saw Georgia max her cooking skill, helped in part by her 'kiddie' oven when she was young I'm sure. :)

Garrett befriended Celeste Rossi before he went to work.

Another chance card, another firing. Only a Family Sim would celebrate such a thing!

He got his fun and social back up and found another job for tomorrow.

Georgia reached the top of her second teen career.

Faith maxed her cooking skills in the early hours of Sunday.

Then decided to invite Gavin, Ginger and their dorm mates over. Yes that's Tybalt & Miranda Capp and Romeo & Mercutio Monty! (haha what a fun dorm that is going to be to play!) :D

Using her new found skill Faith whipped up a Baked Alaska even Isabella Monty would be proud of!

Herbert led the 'kids' in a Smustle spectacular.

Of course it wasn't all fun, Tybalt launched an attack on Romeo, which he won. 

Garrett reached the top of his second teen job too.

Gabriella bagged herself a Scholarship but will have to wait until the next round until she goes to college.

Summary-

Another action packed week here it was hard to fit everything in. Lots of friends bought home after work school means the family still have a good friendship circle even with the older kids going to college.

I'm really hoping Faith and Herbert live long enough to reach TOC's but we will see,  Herbert is further along than Faith but maybe I'll break my 'retire' rule just for them. ;)

We'll be going there to see how Gavin & Ginger get on with the Capp/Monty kids next! 

Moonbeam- Blossom (Sophomore Year)

 

We are still in Veronaville but at La Fiesta Tech to visit Blossom Moonbeam for her Sophomore Year.

Blossom is a Family Sim who wishes to Raise 20 puppies or kittens! She loves all things Nature, bumblebees, butterflies and clearly Animals. She is studying Biology which suits her I think given her interests.

Blossom shares a dorm with Klara Vonderstein.

also Aldric Davis and William Williamson whose chess game it seems will be cut short so they can do some working out.

Blossom loves to share gossip with her interstellar friend, Stella!

Last time when I played the Davis brothers Almeric and Blossom naturally gravitated toward each other and had pink hearts but Blossom doesn't have a huge attraction toward Almeric.

Studious Stella is the first to finish her Term Paper this semester.

oooh, of course the Davis brothers were both inducted into the LFT Society last time, whose turn is it now?

It's Stella!

Blossom really wants it to be her as she loves making friends but for now found Mercutio Monty hanging outside so invited him in to welcome him to Campus.

Aldric is next to finish his term paper. Although I am concentrating on Blossom I make sure the other Dormies have their skills and a full class bar each semester and I only let them do term papers if they wish for it.

After their Freshman Year and all reaching the Dean's list everyone's dorm rooms got a makeover, Blossom likes her blue room.

She invited the guys downtown so they could let off some steam at the Crypt O' Nightclub,

and while I wasn't looking Blossom and Almeric went and fell in love.

Once home it was Klara's turn for induction to the Secret Society.

Aldric made 5 best friends.

Stella and Blossom are discussing what they will do with their next lot of funds when they finish the year.

Blossom has a tutor who comes by all the time and it's easier to invite him in, chat a while and say goodbye than it is to ignore his incessant doorbell ringing!

Klara and William become best friends while Almeric shows off his impressive six pack.

Yay, finally it is Blossom's turn to be kidnapped!

The Secret Society lot is very full of members now.

Blossom arrived home just in time to go to her final exam for the half semester where she was quickly joined by her Dorm mates.

Some funds were used to add a sofa and bookcase in the kitchen/diner which saves them all having to attempt to get upstairs at the same time to learn new skills.

The Davis brothers are best friends.

Blossom and William enjoy a friendly competition on the pc.

But then it's William's turn to be abducted. At least that's all the household now!

Klara is extremely impatient in the morning and often shouts at Blossom to hurry up in the bathroom!

But in a nice enough way that they are good friends.

Stella is loving her skill set. She's just maxed Logic.

Blossom joins in with a late afternoon impromptu yoga class.

hmmm, I'm sure this is Almeric and a fellow secret society member getting pink hearts...

which is weird because Aldric and Blossom spend lots of time together and have more attraction.

A little later Blossom finishes the Semester! She's looking forward to her Junior Year.

She also gained a Bronze badge in Gardening with her one tomato plant and tree.

Summary-

Another quick but fun Year at college. It will be interesting to see if Blossom chooses one brother over the other next time, or neither! She certainly hasn't rolled any usual family wishes toward Almeric though it probably wouldn't hurt her to have help if she's to raise lots of puppies/kittens!

Next we're still in Veronaville and off to the Newson's for the second time this round (the first was with the Goodie's, their 'adoptive parents'. :)
